RC Hagen 11134 Marina Battery Operated Air Pump

Bought this for my nano tank to power my sponge filter in the event of power cuts. Quiet, not sure how long it runs on 2 batteries as its only been run for a short time for a test run. Seems to be well made and has plenty of flow for what I need. Would recommend.

Nice useful item

This item is larger than those I have used in the past and it is noisier. That said, it does very effectively what it should. I am using Amazon's budget range of batteries which have been lasting very well. Overall, well satisfied.

Good value, good quality, does the job

Great pump lasted a long time on it’s two batteries pleasantly surprised

Had to send the first one back for a replacement as the unit was getting hot when switched on. The second one is fine and works well for emergencies or transporting fish

I bought two of these a couple of months ago after a power cut. Had to use them in anger this Christmas, one pump is more than adequate for a four foot aquarium two is overkill! The battery life is astounding I expected to get about 12 hours from a pair of budget "D" cells, in fact got over 30 hours.The only problem was the air line supplied tended to try to curl up back to its original coil so I used some softer line I had spare. Apart from that nothing other than I have a load of spare battery that I don`t need due to the length of time the pumps kept running, again these were budget batteries not the expensive longlife ones!

I had a goldfish bowl , the fish was always at the bottom and one was going purple.... until I ordered this beauty , two batteries and bang the thing is going!!! Can’t explain how good this is. I use it as a main pump just stock up on batteries , it’s been going 4 days now with the same set of batteries. Highly recommend
