Beautiful deck
I watched a few review videos online and some people were disappointed with the descriptions of the lower arcana in the pamphlet for interpretation purposes. I featured some of my favorite cards, but not all of them. The book it comes with is so cute. The box is really well made and as colorful as the cards. I’m less of a fan of the back of the cards. I felt like that could have been a little bit more interesting. Some people wanted to know the symbolism in the animals featured. I kind of feel like if you know some of the traits of animals/feel the vibe of the card you can pull your own understanding of it. I thought it was actually well stated. I have not really been drawn to other tarot decks that feature people of color because they feel too commercial and cheesy. I’m not a fan of the modern witch tarot because it feels purposefully trying to pack in inclusive purposes with that intent entirely. This deck has a very moody and intentional vibe to it. I see struggle and strength in the imagery. Judgement and justice are my favorite cards. They have a much different vibe than other depictions of justice and judgement than other decks. I view tarot as more of a mindfulness practice.

Lovely deck with people of colour
This is a beautiful deck that effortlessly represents people from other cultures and backgrounds. I like that they combined the figures with animals. The major arcana and the court cards use figures but the minor arcana use animals. I love the package, feel and size of the cards etc. The book is well done as well except there is nothing telling us about the name, meaning or symbolism of the 40 animals being shown in the minor arcana. I think that would have really deepened this deck if the artist or creator would have shared one or two sentences about the animal used to symbolise that particular card. It's not easy to intuit this info from other knowledge as the animals shown are region specific. However the deck is still quite beautiful and looks very appealing.

Beautiful
Very beautiful deck I love very much. Great quality cards. Box, not so much.

Guidebook is Very Generic
I returned this as it didn't resonate. The guidebook just has general meanings of the cards - it doesn't speak to any of the imagery or draw any connection to why whatever being displayed is chosen. A guidebook should display overall meaning but also point out specific imagery and why it relates and/or why it was chosen. Many of the cards imagery is very repetitive and not distinct - overall very disappointing.

Vibrant colors, mystical and majestic creatures
Mystical Forest TAROT card is a primordial deck with beautiful vibrant artwork focused on nature, powerful plants, sacred animals, and timeless shamans. It brings a small book and it is all protected by a box that opens like a drawer. I love this format.

Bold colors and a good value!
I picked up this deck last night at a local bookstore (I needed a little 'I made it through the work week' treat!). The bright colors of the packaging jumped off the shelf and caught my eye. I had never seen or come across this deck before, which is surprising considering how many decks I've looked at and bought over the past year. So it was an impulse purchase made without having seen the cards before or having read/watched any reviews. And the packaging...wow! This is a chunky box, in a good way. The box is a hard, sturdy cardboard with a drawer or tray that slides out from the bottom. Inside that drawer, you'll find the colorful guidebook and the deck...inside a tuck box! I really like the overall quality of the packaging and presentation of this bright deck! Especially for the price point. I paid full retail at the bookstore but it's even less on Amazon. The deck itself is thick and the cardstock is a medium weight with a glossy finish. I found it hard to riffle shuffle (they're a handful!) but overhand shuffling was easier and the cards slide over each other nicely. Many of the decks in my collection were purchased because I connected with the artwork or theme. That's true here, too. The vibrancy and uniqueness of the images makes me happy! The major arcana and court cards feature human characters and evoke that forest/jungle feel. Many of the majors have a slight connection to the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith imagery, but not all the symbolism is there. The minor arcana cards are more pippish and show animals instead of people. There are no "scenes" like you'd find in a RWS deck that define the meaning of the card, like five people fighting on the 5 of Wands or a boat in the water on the 6 of Swords. The minors just show an animal standing among the cups, wands, swords, and pentacles. If you're familiar with the RWS meanings, you can read just from the title of card more so than from the imagery. I've only given the guidebook a quick peek so far, but it features a color picture of each card with a general description. So this deck is one I'd use just for my own readings, not when reading other people. But for the price, this was a good purchase and I look forward to really looking through each card.
