Astonish Powerful Oven and Cookware Cleaner with No Harsh Chemicals, 150g

Just wow! This stuff is incredible especially as it’s non toxic etc. It sounds terrible but my oven door was awful, whenever I’ve tried to clean it, it still looked as bad! Then I spotted this. Such a great price, I thought I’d give it a try but didn’t hold much hope! Oh my goodness! My oven looks BRAND NEW. I’m not joking! (See photo) It’s great quality, I can’t believe the effectiveness, it’s unreal, it’s very easy to use, and there’s no bad smell either. I will say, I had used bicarbonate soda and white vinegar the night before which did nothing but not sure if this helped or not, then I used this and most of it came off but the last few stubborn bits, I had to use a lot of elbow grease and a steel brush. Very happy with my purchase/results and would definitely recommend!

I bought this product based off of a frantic Google search because I had accidentally scratched our four month old glass hob top quite badly with a scourer. I found a newspaper article/add online in The Sun of all places that spoke of a woman who had purchased some of this from Poundland and found it to not only clean her hob, but also to repair it. Suffice to say, I was extremely sceptical but as the Mrs still hadn't seen the damage yet and being quite desperate, I did a quick Amazon search and ordered some. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE RESULT!!! I applied some of this wonder paste to a sponge and gently gave the hob top a wipe, directly over the damage. Lo and behold, upon wiping off the paste with a damp cloth, the scratches were hardly visible! I gave it another little go with the paste and the result improved further. Now you can barely see the scratches to the hob glass. And I mean, the light has to be hitting the surface just right and you have to be standing at exactly the right angle to even be able to see any sign of scratches and these scratches were BAD before I used the cleaner. So in short, this product cleans ceramic glass hob tops perfectly. It also restores ceramic glass hob tops that are scratched. Even if the scratches look unrepairable! I'm not sure exactly how it works. It could be some kind of ancient magic but... ...Hob saved, both ears still attached to my head and no sleeping on the settee for this fella! Definitely recommended.

Good product

When I couldn’t get my usual oven cleaner I searched for a low odour/fume free alternative - this was pretty much the only one I could find, so duly ordered. When it arrived the package was tiny (my hand in photo for comparison - and I don’t have giant hands!). I didn’t hold out a lot of hope! However, I used this today and it is fantastic! Apart from doing what it’s designed for extremely well with no resulting arm ache, it had no nasty smell, and the oven didn’t need to be rinsed and wiped a million times to get rid of the product. It was so quick and easy to use - only had to use a tiny bit of it too. I never do reviews unless something is terrible or completely brilliant and this is so good! It’s a real game changer with oven cleaning - simply blown away with this (and no I don’t work for them!) it will no longer be the worst job in the house to do.

DOES WAT IT SAYS

As is often the case, the first 60-80% of the stains are removed almost effortlessly, and the last 20-40% is the one that will require quite a bit of rubbing and persistence. If your pan is horribly stained like mine (5 years worth of almost daily use), in about 20 minutes it should remove the worst layers of stain, making it look well used but decent. In about 45 minutes it will have have regained it's stainless steel colour almost everywhere, with some hard areas stained here and there. It will likely take twice as long to get rid of these as well, although I have no doubt that it will -because I tested it in one small part of these hard areas and indeed it did, after ~5 minutes of persistent rubbing of this one tiny spot with a microfibre cloth. So it works and it can make it look almost likely new (appart for tiny micro-scratches that you can only notice up close and under direct light). This is better than anything else I know of and than I was expecting, so 5 stars.

Another great product from astonish that really works

This product is what I have been looking for a long time. I bought it many years ago and after using it for years with great results I used it all up. I just bought it again and I am super happy with the results, in seconds my pots and lids look like new again.

I have been using Astonish cream cleaner for years. I first bought it after seeing a demo on QVC, and was so happy to see that Amazon carries it now. It works when nothing else does. Baked-on stains on my white Corningware baking dishes, the glass top on my range, the cooked on stains on the bottoms of stainless cookware, any staining on my good Le Creuset dutch ovens, even the inside of the oven window. Astonish works beautifully with a scrub daddy on the really tough stuff. It really is the cleaner I rely on.
