Junkers Men's Quartz Watch 6144-3 6144-3 with Leather Strap

First many thanks for the very speedy delivery, it arrived on my birthday which added to the celebrations. Well what can I say, a nicely engineered watch that gives you confidence it will last a long, long time. The face is big enough for me to see without my glasses, and I love the "altimeter" hands. I set it up on the 29/5 by using the BT talking clock, Nine days later it hasn't lost a second. The strap is made of stiff leather, but again it shouts quality, and is comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend Junkers timepieces if you want a solid, accurate and stylish watch.

I choose this because it looked different, clean and distinctive but the reality is the face is too small and difficult to read. It looks much more promising in the picture and the reality is a disappointment. Others have commented on the hardness of the Junkers leather straps and in my experience it is not a "Good value" thing it is very uncomfortable and far too short. All things considered a very disappointing purchase and in future I will, as I should have done, stick to looking in shop windows and trying before buying. Had I seen and tried this on in a shop I would never have purchased it.

It's a very attractive watch. Nice and solid. My only query is why the hour an minute hand are not illuminated in te dark when the numerals and minute sspacings are....seems pointless, but I like the eccentricity of that.

This is a Great Looking watch having the classic German Aviation Dial which offers great clarity. The hour/minute hands are striking and are symbolic of an Aircraft Altimeter. The quality stainless steel case is very well machined, with a clean, classic looking design and a nicely engraved Junkers JU52 side profile on the caseback. Then there is the lovely Onion Crown wheel which is beautifully machined and features the Junkers Logo. A good quality black leather strap with white stitching is fitted to the watch. This gives a feeling of durability and ruggedness whilst being comfortable to wear. The strap is long enough for my large 22.5 cm wrist. The silvered applied Junkers Logo at the 6-O-Clock position gives a nice touch of class. The watch has a Ronda 515 quartz movement which seems to be a very accurate timepiece. The 5 minute Dial Markers and Numerals are highly luminous and look really cool in the dark. However you cannot tell the time in the dark because the Hour-Minute hands are not Luminous. This is why I have only awarded this watch 4 Stars. Mindful that this watch is linked to the Junkers "Iron Annie" JU 52, it would have been nice for the Dial to have featured the Corrugated effect that appears on other Junkers JU52 watches in this range. Despite the lack of Luminous hands, this is still a great watch to own, manufactured by a Company which has an amazing History in the World of Aviation.

Saw this brand while in Germany last month. Didn't buy one. So, bought one here when I got back home. Excellent watch. Like the size, and the highly visible hands. Neat idea the altimeter look. Glad I got it. Excellent watch. No regrets on this purchase.

Lovely chunky watch, looks great and I actually flew in the Lufthansa JU52 with it on so happy as Larry. :-)

Was working fine for 2 years ans 2 months.And one day it was not working anymore.Checked with expert, it is not linked with battery, it is inside, it is broken.No shock given.Just bad quality

aber nicht ganz billig, außer man kauft sie im Angebot. Auffälliges Design. Einziges Manko: Im Vergleich zu meinen vielen anderen Uhren (habe mehr als 30) färbt das Armband bei Kontakt mit Desinfektionsmittel, das ich beruflich häufig nutzen muss, gelegentlich ab. Das tut kein einziges anderes Armband, das ich besitze.

Very nice watch. I had bought a similar Junkers watch seven years ago in Germany and had been very satisfied. Basic watch, without features you do need.
