It's sturdy and, therefore, needs this longer version to enable me to secure a pair of ladders together and round a post. Easy to lock by just pushing the ends together but the key needs to be used to unlock it. The cover over the lock mechanism is a good idea as it stops the rain getting into it. Time will tell if it stiffens up. I am well pleased with this item.

I don't normally write reviews. But I was so impressed with this bike lock that I had to. Its great! Put the holder on your bike and it clips in and slides out at the push of the button easily. The locking mechanism is very smooth. With a security key lock too which means picking it would be nigh on impossible. What I like most is the little cover for the key hole. As this keeps any water out when your bike is outside in the rain. This was the reason I had to replace my last bike lock with this one. So hopefully I will not have that problem again.

Used for the school run, my daughter can lock her bike by herself and she says it's easy to use.

Very useful and good to secure bicycle

Very well structured solid lock. The locking mechanism is very smooth. I am impressed with the overall design including the flexible cable, security keys and the keyhole cover. The clip-on mounting bracket is very practical, easy to attach and detached from my bike. Works very well.

Amazing for the price

Everything was fine initially, I liked the length and the quality was as good as expected for the price. But after a few weeks, the key was difficult to fit in the keyhole as it was rusty (even with the anti-dust cover) and finally, the key broke while I was struggling to put it in. I have the other key but I'm afraid the same will happen if I keep using it.

Really good lock. Bit short.
