Again, excellent. Love it.
This is my second shelter-which isn't a good start to any review but the first one lasted years and ended its days in a force 9 gale on a festival site where the poor perished cover finally completely shredded and I really had to quit mending it. I truly got my money's worth out of it. I priced up a replacement awning but decided to go for a smaller version this time even tho I still have all the poles in fine condition from my first one. Shrug. It was the right decision. I don't regret it for a second. I erected the shelter on my own and fair enough I've had lots of experience, but bear in mind I'm mid sixties, female and get my hips replaced end of this week (🤞) so not 100% mobile. I worked slowly in limited space and had the thing up in less than half an hour from unboxing. Unfortunately I omitted to guy it so almost lost it ystrdy in an epic gust, but I shall stake it down today so that my neighbour doesn't acquire a new garden feature next time it gets windy. The 3m size is much more appropriate for my garden space and no different to put up. I totally love these shelters; they are portable if a tad on the heavy side, easy to put up n down, totally adjustable, exceptionally well made and sturdy. I understand the cover is now coated in an improved screen which should lengthen it's life; time will tell. We had rain and none got through though there has been some condensation in the morning. I have side panels too but we cobbed up an old tarp on my last shelter which worked fine. I saw other folks with bbqs underneath but Coleman don't recommend that and I've personally not done it. I don't want to incinerate my poor shelter...It looks too darn good. Let's not forget to mention that. I was fortunate enough to find a bargain (I do love a bargain) but I had to wait a few weeks on delivery probably due to pandemic issues which I'm not quibbling. This is my first choice of shelter and I highly recommend this particular design as easy and user friendly. However. If you are a klutz and get yer skin caught in the metal poles while slotting them together (they're internally chained together to make it easy for you) then there's no helping you. Coleman have made this so simple- just add a modicum of common sense and job's done. Happy camping ☮️

Quick to put up, sturdy even in moderate wind, can sit up all summer
I'm very pleased with this purchase, we used it a lot this summer, although it was a very good year for sitting int hte garden. It's straightforward to put up, there are no knacks or techniques. I put it up by myself, although you have to be around 6ft tall (1.8m - you could probably do it if you wer 1.6m or 5ft 4in) to pull the shelter fabric over the poles without difficulty. First time around it took 35 minutes, but second time it was closer to 20 minutes. For most of the summer, the only pegs were the ones in the bottom of the poles. I only added guy ropes when we wanted to use it in a breeze. For safety's sake, when the forecast was really strong winds, I took the fabric off and left the poles standing. In use, 3m by 3m is plenty, even with phjysical distancing because of Covid-19. It's amazing how much warmer it made us, even with no walls (see later about the walls), and it kept the heat of the sum off when necessary. The walls are a puzzle. This arrives with no walls, however you buy each wall separately, and they are quite expensive (I think we paid £35 per wall, so I stopped at one wall). One wall makes a difference - ti hides the unsightly view and stops wind whistling through because it can't get out the other side. I haven't bought a second wall yet, very satisfied. I've taken it down for the winter. It came down easily and cleaned easily for storage. It all went back into its bag like a well-behaved tent, and the wall fitted into the same bag.

Best there is but becomes brittle with age
These are great shelters and I’m now on my fourth. I wish that did a polycotten version. I saw one of mine survive a 72 mph wind when the frame was pegged to the floor with bungees and various wetsuits were hung off it (I thought for sure it was a gonna). They are sturdy when new but become delicate after ~12 weeks of sunlight. Great for two seasons. Anything beyond is a bonus.

Great for summer use in the garden!
We use this all the time! the set up is so simple it's beyond a joke! The uv filter adds extra repreve also during those hot summer days. It's easy to clean and spacious. It is heavy and cumbersome to move, not idea for taking away with you, but great in the garden. Colemans are a brand i've used for years and trust.

Absolutely brilliant!!!
Well what can I say.... First of all the process to put the canopy together is quick and simple!! It took us about 20 minutes. (We purchased the side walls separately to the canopy). Once we had attached the side walls we then secured it down. My only criticism is - There are not enough pegs for you to put four on each foot and one on each guy rope!! ( We are campers so we used some from our awning). So far the canopy has been up through Storm Ellen in our garden and I have to say it survived. I was so impressed at how it kept totally dry inside whilst outside was torrential rain!! It is sturdy, dries off really quickly after a heavy downpour and is nice a cosy when sheltered underneath from the rain. We are exceptionally impressed with the quality and in comparison to our camper van awning, have to say this is actually much much better. We cannot wait to try it out camping!! It’s making life easier for social distancing if we have a couple of friends or family over. I would recommend this canopy and give it 10/10.

Frayed in places. No support from Coleman customer service
The material looks frayed in places. I contacted Coleman customer services but they’ve never responded. It’s now been used a few times so I’ve decided to chalk it up as an expensive waste of money

Fabulous, sturdy modern looking gazebo
It's easy to assemble but preferable with two people. It also comes with clear instructions . This really is a fabulous looking gazebo and really stands out. we always found when we took to garden party’s there were lots of gazebos and nearly every time we use it everybody choose to be under this one! It’s open sided so won’t protect you in cold weather. But it does stand up to weather really really well!! It has a sturdy feel to it when pegged out properly. Wr had the large size and yet this still felt massive to us. Strongly recommended.

Slightly disappointed as not the usual Colman standard,
Received this afternoon so thought I'd better put it up in the garden before the first use in a few days time. I see there are a few comments about the Velcro fastening having holes around the edges where they are attached. I think the problem is that the taped seams are put on after the Velcro straps and when the are first used the straps rip some of the taped seam away resulting in the possibility of leaving a small hole. I also noticed the paint on the poles wasn't a particularly well adhered and showed as small scratches just from carefully fitting the poles together. The Velcro straps are not particularly well fastened considering they are a pressure point. I expect this from a cheap shelter but not from Coleman. They really should take more care. Might consider returning but will see how it preforms after my camping trip.
