Q: Can anyone give me any tips for pitching this? I’ve tried with 2 people following the instructions and it’s near impossible? Please help...

it is big and poles are long and awkward, definitely a 2 if not a four person job. my technique is to assembly all poles and run them through the pole runners on the tent while leaving the tent flat. then put the steel pins into the poles at one end leaving the poles free at the other. (ie all four poles are located into the steel pin at 2 of the corners) now the tricky bit if there are 4 people each take a free pole at the free end and all together push and bend the poles into the dome shape until you can get the steel pin into the end of the pole. a 5th person is useful to keep an eye on the fixed end which can jump out which is a pain. if there are only 2 people try do the same thing but with 2 . watch out when the pole are sliding through the tent material, not to snag the tent which can damage the material.

Q: Would it be suitable for a team on a tournament day

As always it depends upon the activity and the day (weather). I'm sure that it would cope with most scenarios though. Buy some good quality pegs if expecting strong wind.

Q: Can you cook in this while camping

I have however I made sure that the ground sheet wasn't under the stove. The stove was very low to the ground and the door was open and held out of the way.
