Excellent sound quality, conducted my Skype interview successfully, as my cam mic is awful. Value for money.

It arrived quickly - so thank you and is small and neat but doesn't actually work - so completely useless. Don't waste your money.

I ordered this product for my old laptop, I hate putting anything in my ears for long time while chatting on skype.It solved my problem but sometime person on other side complaints about background noise something like fast breeze sound.I am not pretty sure about whether this is skype issue or mic, otherwise I am still using it.

I am no computer buff - Far from it! When using SKYPE on my Samsung note book, the reciever could not hear my voice, went to a local computer shop that said I would have to have a 'soundcard' added (£50) didn't want to pay this!I then discovered that I had no microphone!!!!!!Ordered this, plugged it in and amazing it now works!! Cheap and cheerful but certainly works wonders!!!

I use it for a mini pc, directly attached to the mic input port. It is a compact solution for easy transport and reduce cable clutter. The sound quality is comparable to much bigger microphones. Works fine for Skype and similar conversation tools, as long as you are not too far from the mic (otherwise you could still use a cable extension). Obviously not enough for professional sound but it does not pretend it. It would be better if available in black color as most front & back panels and other connectors are, but it doesn't look bad.

I'm not bitter as Amazon quickly gave me a refund. It simply didn't work -- I assumed others who complained of this maybe had set it up incorrectly, but after fiddling with settings in my sound card, and trying the mic in two different laptops, the best it could muster was some highly muffled knocking sounds when I tapped very hard on it.I assumed it might not be in fully but the MacBook Pro I tried it on has a completely flat side, so it should have sat flush/flat against it. The Matebook 13 I tried it with has a slight bevel on the side, but it also appeared to accept the full length of the jack.I think I got a duff, but I can't give it more than 1 star for this. I've ordered the Gembird mic as another reviewer recommended. I may update this to add more information later on whether this was a good purchase or not.EDIT: The other mic also did not work. I found an old USB sound card and tried the mic with it and it worked. The Hama mic also worked. It seems despite being marketed towards laptops, most of which use a 'combo' type jack which allows selecting between mic, headset, or headphones -- it doesn't actually work. I assume this is because it is a 'two pole' microphone (the rings on the jack itself determine this) whereas the combo jacks expect 3 or 4 poles. I'm no expert, but I assume the poles/lines are not lining up properly.If you have a 2-in-1 jack you probably can't use this.

Great miniture microphone for my laptop.Works perfect for Zoom video calls etc.Plug & Play.Really is tiny.

Can't recommend this as I simply couldn't get it to work! It says its 'plug and play' and 'works with any sound card' but it certainly doesn't work with my Asus laptop running Windows 10. The laptop simply doesn't recognise it, even after rummaging around in the Sound Settings, it just isn't listed there as a selectable item so I'm not even able to manually activate it. All that happens when you plug it in is that it switches off the speakers (and doesn't work as a microphone)....

Super pratique ! Je l'utilise sur mon ordinateur portable dont le microphone n'est pas de très bonne qualité et celui-ci s'y substitue très bien. En plus, comme il est petit et discret, je peux le laisser brancher en permanence même en le rangeant dans son sac sans qu'il gène.

Microfono utilizzato per aggiungere l'audio ad una telecamera Foscam 9800P da esterno; quelli consigliati dalla Foscam sono identici e costano più del doppio. Caratteristiche del microfono discrete - impedenza di ingresso 1 kΩ, risposta in frequenza 30Hz-16KHz, sensibilità -62 db, in relazioni alle dimensioni ridottissime (meno di 3 cm, vedi anche foto). Il corpo in metallo lo rende resistente ed adatto ad applicazioni dove servono dimensioni ridotte e robustezza, non certo alta fedeltà. Fa il suo lavoro, se montato all'esterno ma in zona riparata dalla pioggia diretta (ad esempio sotto una tettoia che esce appena dalla scatola impermeabile con i cavi della videocamera, vedi foto) per ora ha resistito bene alle intemperie, ma non è impermeabile IP66. Ne comprerò altri per le rimanenti videocamere del mio impianto, sempre da installare in zone riparate dalla pioggia diretta.
