Eton Poultry Aluminium Feed Scoop, 1 Kg

Seemed like a fairly good scoop at first although the handle was weirdly small compared to the size of the scoop. It was mis-proportioned in my opinion. The handle should have been longer and more beefy. Anyway my thoughts came to frooition after just 1 week of using it when the handle snapped clean off. Absolutely useless and it had to go in the bin.

This came with no handle.. Clearly broken off.. I do wonder what kind of person packed this item. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it.

I needed to replace my old plastic soil scoop, and decided to go with metal. This is perfect, a nice size to get soil moved quickly but without each scoop being too heavy, and despite a rather lackadaisical approach to cleaning it there is no sign of rust.

I use these for digging into sacks of dog food and getting out the right kind of amount. I also use them for poultry grain, pellets. They are built to last forever from the looks. The hand is a little short, yes but you soon get used to it. The balance is the hand is fine and the scoop can always be found in the sack. Quite an old fashioned item but why change what works?

The scoop is a scoop... But the handle... is a weird stump that is way too short for any balance, and has huge "finger" grooves that makes you wonder what kind of grip (and how many fingers) it was designed for. Uncomfortable to use. Would not recommend.

Je craignais qu'il soit trop petit ou trop grand mais au final au top! J'ai prit la bonne taille. J'en avais besoin pour le travail, récupérer du sable dans des sac pour les transvaser
