I like the fact that this box comes unfinished, it’s allowed me to decoupage an old fishing print on the top, and cut the compartments to fit my needs for a fishing bits box as in my pictures. I actually gave a thumbs up to a previous reviewers bad review purely because it comes unfinished 😆 that’s what you want for this type of box. Rather than an empty box, it’s got to be better for the changeable inner compartments. Great for any crafting project.

Bought this box to store incense cones rather than teabags - works perfectly for the Satya Nag Champa brand I buy. I painted mine black and added silver box corners, a new catch and decoration. If you are going to paint would def recommend a light sanding with fine sandpaper and then a quick wipe down with spirit to get a smooth finish.

Absolutely love this. Just redecorated kitchen so used the same colour paint so it would match. The tea box is well made and I've had loads of lovely comments about it. Highly recommend. Just ordered two more to make presents for people.

It's a nice box for tea. Would be nice if itwould be smooth. still have wood smell ;) (love it)If you buy tea in supermarkets some how it's made for them. (Clippers and twinnings) fits perfectly had to remove one of separating wood bits to put in something else (Solaris tea doesn't fit) if you buy teas in supermarkets good thing to have.

Great box and perfect size so long as you dont mind putting some work into it. The box came completely untreated with splinters breaking of all over it so it needed sanded down and in my opinion varnished.

Just perfect for a tinker tray for my little one
