Simple but so effective
What can one say about a teapot? Well, quite a bit, it would seem. The design and materials are key and in this case they both come together to produce the perfect solution to brewing/mashing/steeping loose leaf tea (bags, too, if you prefer).Although the whole body/handle assembly is one piece of ceramic, the handle never gets too hot even though the 'vessel' does, as it should. It is perfect for one cup (standard tea cup, not mug) but can also stretch to two if care is taken to remove basket after the first, to prevent over brewing.Although dishwasher safe, I prefer to allow mine to season, so wash with hot water only. The infusion basket is good, but be careful not to overfill otherwise once the leaves expand on hydration they may swamp the basket and reduce natural convection water flow for optimal brewing.Pouring is perfect. Keep the pot steady to provide a consistent pour.It takes me back to my youth as I was brought up on 'real' tea made in a pot, so knew what I was missing when having to resort to bags. The FORLIFE Stump Teapot has allowed me to enjoy tea again, the way I aways liked it.Given the build quality there is a very good chance it will live up to its name - FORLIFE!

A really lovely little teapot
I own two of these now, one for home and the other forms an essential part of my camping kit! You cannot camp without being able to make a decent morning cuppa! I love the colours and the design but I wouldn't give it five stars for it's looks alone. The teapot pours beautifully (not something you can say for a lot of teapots) and it washes up well, either in the dishwasher or by hand. If you own more than one they will stack too. The stainless steel insert is removeable making it easy to empty and also to remove when the tea is brewed to your liking so it doesn't keep getting stronger as it sits. If I had a criticism it would be that it is really a pot for one. You can get two small mugs of tea from it but only just. It would be nice if they made a larger version. I love the range of colours (my camping pot matches my trailer tent!! How sad is that!) too. I think they make lovely gifts for a tea drinker. I bought one for my mother-in-law along with some quality loose tea and also the little bamboo tray that goes with the teapot and she was delighted with it.

Tea for 2
Who wouldn't want a bright orange 2 cup teapot ?The internal removable tea leaf strainer fits nicely and is easy to empty. The lid is flat and secure , supposedly for stacking more than one of these teapots, but means that you can just stack anything on it when it's in the cupboard (e.g. a packet of tea).Only downside is that if you do have 2 large mugs of tea you do need to fill it right to the top, which can be a disaster if you're not paying attention.... another couple of mm could have made all the difference.

Orange not what expected but good tea pot.
Like the title suggests, I ordered the orange teapot as on the pictures it seems like a nice glossy terracotta colour, well what turned up is all I can describe as illuminuse carrot! However the report does work well as I exchanged for the black which is a great piece of kit.

Hard to clean tea leaves
Nice pot but handle on tea leaf filter gets in way when cleaning. Hards to really clean leaves out.

Brilliant tea pot. Clean and Fun.
In reality, the colour of the teapot is not great. It's a bit brighter than the image displayed. There is a little mesh 'bucket' inside the pot, where you can put loose tea or herbs. It's really easy to detach and clean.I dont think the pot keeps the tea very warm for long but i suppose that happens with many tea pots.Over all, i'm pleased. The pot makes two small mugs of tea or one and a half normal size mugs.

Funky teapot
Lovely teapot in a great bright colour, and just the right size for two mugs of loose leaf tea which is what we'd been looking for.One word of caution - use good quality tea with large leaves as the insert allows the fine powder from cheaper teas to get through into your cuppa!
