The Perfect Dog House
I love this product, it has become such a staple in my home. My 75 lb pitbull is typically hanging off the side of beds or the couch, too big to fit comfortably. Yet, this 2XL dog house makes her look like a little puppy. She’s all curled up in there during dinner time or when we’re watching TV. I think she loves the coziness and how small it makes her feel. I chose the Black Crane style as it’s a big item and it came out perfectly stylish to keep in our family room. My other dog ended up burrowing a hole into the foam bed it comes with however I put a normal size dog bed in there which fits perfect. Highly recommend.

Dog loves it. Size XL
Update: The second one we ordered was shipped without being folded double, and yay this second one doesn’t have the caving in problem! It wasn’t a big problem anyway, but very nice to see that issue fixed! Thank you! They have become our dogs’ favorite safe spaces.Original review: Our dogs are about 20 pounds each and the XL is a nice size for them to stretch out or curl up. It’s also the perfect size to put a standard size pillow in the floor of it for extra cushiness. We covered the pillow with a furry navy blue pillow case and it looks great. Have to buy a second soft doghouse now because the 2 dogs don’t want to share, although they would both fit if snuggled up. The pad it comes with is decent and blanket was welcomed! The outer material feels like a nice water-resistant and durable, wipe-clean nylon. There is a slight caving in on the sides (see photos) but doesn’t bother us and we haven’t tried to work with it to fix that. Assembly was literally just zipping it together, super easy. Our dogs fall asleep quickly inside it, even when it’s cold out. It definitely blocks the wind. The walls are thick. We keep it on our covered porch. The dogs love to retreat there for safety and naps. Included photo of dog for size reference.

Cute
Our dog loves this just as a bed. We hoped it would be something she would go I to when she got scared. Unfortunately she is scared to go in. We even tried putting her old pillow bed in it, it was a no go. There are places when the bed is fully opened where the top dips in. It comes with metal rods to add in to prop it up. They are thin enough to not get in the way. I do love that the bed came with a little blanket a nice bed pillow, and a toy. It is sturdy, hopefully she gets brave to use it as it’s intended. FYI, our cats loved it. I had to kick them out to entice her to go in. The bed I will say is huge! She is a lab mix and she has space for a kitty to sleep with her if they want.

Large Doesn’t look very Large…odd color bed pad
I’m not sure this is the correct size. As you cans see my dog is a toy poodle and can’t walk straight in. Also the padding is orange and not white like it was advertised. Not sure I’m all that happy with it tbh.Doesn’t look as sturdy as others shown, but it stands up. Slight chemical smell at first opening that I assume can be washed out. Outer pattern is nice and as expected though. The white fur does shed a bit as it was already shedding when I opened the box. Not sure I’d recommend.

Loved this dog bed - my dog didn't
Really cute dog bed, but my puppy refused to go in it. It might have helped to have some side or top "windows," but that would seem to defeat the "cave-like-designed" security of the bed.The description indicated it could be used as a regular dog bed by collapsing the top & pushing it down toward the bottom pad. But I couldn't get that to work without fear of ruining the bed & risking its being non-returnable.Anyway, I think it would be a perfectly delightful bed for the right dog - just not mine. BTW... my 4-month-old puppy still has not found a preferred sleeping spot. She moves from the bare floor, to a rug, to a blanket, to an occasional standard dog bed. Spoiled much?

Wish I'd found this sooner!
We have a 60 lb. lab-mix who is TERRIFIED of thunderstorms and fireworks-- she'll even look for a small, dark place to lay when it's about to rain. For the past 2 years, her go-to spot has either been our pantry or underneath my husband's desk. Crazy concept, but my husband needs his leg room when he's working and all 60 lbs. of a scared pup doesn't really allow for that. I found this bed/house combo when looking for a smaller "cave" for our 14 lb. chihuahua mix, and after reading multiple reviews I decided to give it a shot. It couldn't have been scripted better-- the box and a thunderstorm arrived around the same time! We got the bed and house out and put together in 10 minutes max, and the minute my husband took it into his office and got her attention, she quickly scurried from under his desk into her new "cave" and stayed there until the storm was gone. I knew right away that I had made one of my best Amazon purchases ever! I'm so glad that she now has a safe and comfortable spot to retreat to when she's anxious instead of laying on the hardwood floor. She's even added it to her rotation of sleeping spots at night.Dog size: 60 lbs, roughly 28" long and 21" tallBed/house size purchased: 3XLI purchased the 3XL because I wanted her to be able to stand up and move around inside if she needed to. While it is very large, she has more than enough room and I would still order the 3XL if I had to do it all over again. But for reference, my 6'3" husband can crawl inside with her comfortably.Cons:- shipping took a long time even with Prime- the removable bed on the inside is thin and has started coming apart from her scratching at it; swapped it out with an existing memory foam bed and it's even better than before- wish there were more exterior colors to choose from

Terrible Quality - Do Not Buy
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted to like this, but this bed is a joke. I don't know why they would choose this fabric for a dog bed (the mat), but it's literally just falling apart! I am constantly having to clean up fuzz in the bed, on my floor, even all over my dog! It's everywhere, and she's only had it for a month! In some spots, the fabric is completely gone and all that is left is the mesh. None of my other CHEAPER dog beds have had this problem. This wasn't worth $125. I wouldn't have paid $25 if I knew this was what they'd send. Terrible quality - do not waste your money
