A good option for bringing some old but good analog speakers into the Bluetooth era
I have a nice old set of Klipsch desktop speakers with RCA line inputs, which previously I had wired to an RCA-to-3.5mm jack, which would then plug into an old Android tablet to play music. The old android tablet finally went to the dev/null bucket in the sky, and there's almost nothing left that uses a 3.5mm audio output. Enter this little doohickey -- I already had a few Anker AC-powered cubes which provide two port USB for power, so I grabbed one and stuffed it into my switched AC outlet plugstrip (same one the speakers themselves are powered by.) So now when I hit the switch in my garage to activate all my lights and speakers and whatnot, this dude powers up and connects to my phone so I can pipe in some tunes. My overall rating is five stars, I did dock a single star for sound quality because there is a slight but noticeable degradation in the overall quality of the output vs using the oldschool analog connection. It really only manifests in certain types of music and even then only in a few demanding tracks. The good news is, for actual garage use, I'll really never notice because the garage is typically noisy for all manner of other reasons. And really, if you're wanting pure sound quality, why are you on a cheap Bluetooth device? It's perfect for my use case and for the pricetag.

Finally my 2009 Honda Pilot has bluetooth! - Update: It sucks
Update: I've had this since June 2023 and have begun to really hate it. It only works half the time. There's always a 5 second lag to play a song or switch a song. But the worst part now is in the middle of a song it will start to get real distorted and then the song will play in fast forward sped up. The only option is to close Spotify and restart it again. If I could give this thing less than 1 star I would. Very disappointed. I've had my 2009 Honda Pilot since it came out and it didn't come with bluetooth. Only a AUX/USB input for an iPod. Well since streaming music via bluetooth became a thing I've always been jealous because I couldn't do it. I always had to use a lightning to USB cable to listen via the iPod input which worked fine but obviously not wireless. I came across this item the other day and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked! My problem was solved! I can now stream music from my iPhone to my car's AUX input wirelessly through the bluetooth connection this USB receiver/adapter provides! I have to turn my car stereo's volume up a little louder than before but that's fine and it sounds great! Very happy with my purchase!

Simple Solution for Cars with an AUX port
I put this my 2008 vehicle that doesn't have bluetooth but does have an AUX port. It is easy to use, but in my car I can hear some static, but i think that is more my car than this device. If I power this bluetooth transmitter with a portable charger, the static goes away. PROS Easy to use Comes on as soon as it senses power CONS It doesn't want to connect automatically once paired. I have to manually tell my phone to connect to it

So pleased
I wasn't sure it was going to work. I have 2012 Honda, which when I bought it would only play Apple products through the radio, AND you have them hooked up to a USB cord. I did not have an Apple device at the time, nor did I have one for the next 11 years. Last April, I got my first iPhone, but I didn't want to have to hook it up to the usb. So I bought this Bluetooth receiver - hoping that if I plugged IT into the USB port, it would work. I didn't have a lot of faith, but I should have, because it worked like a charm. My phones connects to it right away whenever I start the car. The sound quality is good. I can tuck the receiver in the storage compartment in the arm rest. All in all, very happy. Would recommend.

4 second delay and occasional connection drop
The 4 second delay is not a huge deal, except during GPS navigation when you miss a turn because the instructions are 4s behind you google maps app. The occasional connection drops are not a huge deal and the connection returns quickly. There is a loud pop/instantaneous static noise on connection which is annoying. I always turn off my radio when I get a call. Overall, it works, but has a lot of annoying "features" or glitches and I would reccomend trying a different device. I used this with my 2010 Honda Fit glovebox USB connection.

Don't be discouraged from its appearance. It's actually solid
I got it for an old style speaker and it works exactly how I needed it to connect. Powered by usb and then connected to the speaker by aux. i've ordered a couple of times for what i needed and this was the 4th one.

Shuts off after a few songs
It started off great when I plugged this into my audio receiver. I thought, this thing is great! I can listen to my music on my MPB and do work. Well after about 10 songs it cuts off then I have to unplug it and plug it back in to work again. PIA. It works as advertised but just for a short while. So pick your fav song list and enjoy for about 45 min worth.
