I bought the Geist Aniline Leather Care Cream specifically for treating aniline and semi-aniline leather, and it’s clear this product is designed with delicate leather in mind. The cream applies easily and absorbs well without leaving any greasy residue or artificial shine. It refreshes the leather nicely, helping it feel softer and more supple while keeping the natural look intact. Importantly, it doesn’t darken the leather or change the colour noticeably when used sparingly, which is exactly what you want with aniline finishes. Needed a good product to nourish our analine sofa it was looking dry and the dog had scuffed the front Purchased this Geist formula and it really feeds the leather and the scuffs have faded The lotion is quite runny but goes a long way it didn’t fade the colour and absorbed very well leaves a soft sheen and the leather looks and feels supple so will order again at some point point .

Have just purchased my second bottle. Bought the care kit with the first. The covered sponges are great to use with this. Easy to apply. Pleasant smell on application but fades. Gives a subtle shine & sheen. Does what it promises regarding functionality. Great value for this product & what it does. Thoroughly recommend.

I used the kit with the cleaner and conditioner. The Cleaner made no difference at all to the normal daily stains and they were not heavy and had not been there for any length of time., I tied the conditioner and it has left streaks all over the leather, to the point that I feel it has ruined an expensive sofa.

Took a bit of work to clean high use areas first, but then applied Geist to our aniline leather sofas with a soft absorbent cloth. By time I'd finished application, first bit was ready to lightly buff. Look great again, I'd definitely use this product again.

Very easy to apply liberally to a new, but dried out leather jacket. Worked wonders

Did exactly what I hoped for on my Aniline leather, which was really dry. Now soft and looking alive! Easy to apply and I liked the scent, it’s not strong and doesn’t linger. Highly recommend.

Firstly, keep in mind this cleaner and treatment is for Aniline leather specifically. Seems like some reviewers may not have used it on Aniline. I have a large dark brown pottery barn Jake Aniline leather couch and i have dogs, cats and kids. This cleaner did an excellent job of cleaning and treating this leather. The small kit was not enough for this large couch and i will have to purchase more. This was especially so for the treatment cream which absorbs into the leather a lot.

It seems very good. With this one bottle, I've treated 4 sofa cushions with it and probably have enough to treat a bit of the couch itself. The sofa is 36 years old and I've never treated it, so it's understandably a bit thirsty. The treatment has added a beautiful richness back to the leather. I suppose I'll include a photo of the treated cushions on the untreated sofa before I get another bottle and finish it.

Both products work great. The conditioner absorbed quickly and helped fade many of the scratches my cats have left from their zoomies on my couch.

Ich habe in meinem Büro mehrere alte Ledermöbel und die brauchen ab und zu Pflege. Die Möglichkeit dieses Produkt von geist zu testen kam mir daher sehr gelegen. Ich war beim Eintreffen der Lieferung etwas überrascht über die eher lieblose Verpackung in einer Plastiktüte und schmucklose Flasche aber das alte Sprichwort "auf den Inhalt kommt es an" hat sich bewahrheitet. Am Rande sei noch erwähnt, dass die Bezeichnung "Creme" aus meiner Sicht nicht passt, es ist eher eine Emulsion. Wie kann das Produkt dann trotzdem noch 5 Sterne erhalten. Nun, das möchte ich gerne beschreiben: Zunächst habe ich den Sessel mit einem leicht feuchten Schwammtuch gereinigt, anschließend mit einem Microfasertuch nachgewischt und danach ca. 1 Stunde "trocknen" lassen. Anschließend habe ich die Emulsion auf ein Microfasertuch gegeben und den Sessel mit leicht kreisenden Bewegungen eingerieben und als ich fertig war nochmals "nachpoliert". Ich habe bereits viele verschiedene Mittel zur Lederpflege verwendet aber so etwas Gutes noch nicht erlebt. Zunächst einmal ist die Lotion vollkommen geruchlos und laut Hersteller Lösungsmittel- und Seifenfrei, das finde ich super. Die Haptik des Leders ist nach Reinigung und Einarbeitung des Mittels kaum zu beschreiben, der Sessel, bzw. das Leder fühlt sich wirklich an wie neu (seidig, wie mit einer leichten Wachsschicht überzogen) und tatsächlich lässt dieses Materialgefühl auch nach Tagen nicht nach, das hätte ich so extrem nicht erwartet. Laut Hersteller hat man nach der Behandlung bis zu einem Jahr Ruhe, wenn dem so ist reicht der Inhalt dieser Flasche wahrscheinlich mehrere Jahre. Auf dem Foto wirkt der Sessel übrigens eher glänzend aber in Wirklichkeit ist es ein dezenter, seidiger Glanz, das ist ein richtig tolles Lederpflegeprodukt für das ich sehr gerne 5 Sterne vergebe.

This kit works well on Aniline leather. Unfortunately, if you want to do an entire sectional you’ll need to buy two kits. Be aware: not all stains will be removed. That’s leather for you. I found the bending technique suggested on the box does work on certain grime that may be on your leather. Also, wear gloves when applying the cream unless you enjoy hours of sticky hands. After a day my sectional looks good and healthy. It does not look like new. It’s clean and no longer dry looking. Some of the filth has been removed while other, more soaked in stains, seem to have faded slightly. Not a fast process.
