Just buy the best and leave the rest alone
Cant go wrong with Boss White, yeah there are other jointing materials but most only cope with 150C where as Boss White will take 200C, ideal for high pressure steam work.

Good stuff
In this world of ever-changing guidelines about what we can and cannot use any more, having come to the end of an aged tin of Boss White, I was delighted that it was still available in the same formulation. And what a bonus to be able to purchase it and have it delivered for quite a bit less than my local DIY store. I just hope the plastic container keeps it sound as long as the tin did, then as I'm already a pensioner it will see me out!

Boss white usable but not as fresh as boss white I’ve used in the past, a bit past its usable best. But it got the job done.

Better than ptfe
Yes this did a better job than ptfe tape in stopping a leaky inlet joint on our water tank. Much relieved.

Not suitable for use with potable water
Not allowed with potable water so cannot be used with household water supplies; drainage use only. So of little use to me.

Le produit était massé, impossible à utiliser.
Le produit est trop vieux, il avait massé dans le fond, impossible utilisait direction poubelle. Je ne conseille pas ni ce produis ni ce vendeur se permet d'envoyer des produits obsolètes.
