Wildlife Sciences Suet Balls 24 Pack, 6 Individually Wrapped Packs of 4 Bird Suet Balls (Peanut Blend)

I recently purchased a bird feeding station here on Amazon that came with several feeders; two of which were suet feeders. I was hoping these suet balls would fit in the cylinder suet feeder but they were too large. In order for them to fit I had to cut them which wasn’t a problem. They cut easily and didn’t crumble as much as I feared they would. Just a few crumbles. The Suet balls are lasting a while and the woodpeckers and other assorted birds are really loving it. I thought it was sort of expensive and was afraid the birds would gobble it down in a day or two; especially after reading some other reviews, but mine is lasting a while. I had two suet balls in my feeder and it’s attracting birds daily and after 1 month there is still plenty left. I will probably purchase these again when finished.

The packaging of the suet balls is very easily accessible and keeps them fresh. Birds and other wildlife will hesitate to feed on stale suet, so the plastic tray and outer wrap keeps the suet moist.It may take a day or 3 for your visitors to discover it, but once they do, you will need to keep an eye your supplies 😉This is my second season using this brand of suet and I will continue to use them in the future.. Note: I shopped around and found the pricing more than reasonable for the quality of the product 👌

This product, in my opinion, is hands down a better product than another brand we ordered. Better packaging and much better compression appears to keep them together a lot better than the dryer ones on the market from Pacific Bird and Supply. The other brand came in smashed /crumbled in just a bag. Very happy with the quality and packaging on these.

This suet is very popular with the birds in our neighborhood -- and a couple (but not all!) of the squirrels. I guess a couple of the local squirrels must enjoy the heat. (It is January in New England...) However the number of squirrels eating the hot pepper mix is quite a bit less than when we put out the straight peanut butter blend.Take that for what it's worth. Your mileage may vary.

I bought the set so we could use the suet holder for our new smart camera birdfeeder and these are great. They’re a little smaller than the holder and the birds love them. It’s a great variety pack.

I bought as a gift. I just heard feedback where birds weren't using them at first but after a week or two, they are seeing a lot of birds. I was asked to share the item so they could be purchased by someone else who was impressed and wants them also. Hope this helps!
