This TV wall mount feels solid and well made. It holds the TV securely and sits close to the wall for a clean look. Installation was straightforward, and it works exactly as expected.

This is the first time I've mounted a TV on the wall, and believe me - they couldn't have made this any easier to install. What impressed me most was that each type of hardware was packaged in it's own labeled sleeve. I've never seen that before - usually nuts & bolts are all jumbled together in one bag and you get to have fun guessing what matches with what. Every single piece in this kit was labeled, which made it so easy. They included nuts & bolts of various sizes (nice, since every TV is different), and they also included a few extra brackets to help with 'funky' TV configurations. I have a 32" Samsung and this kit worked perfectly. The vertical brackets weren't too long and one of the sets of screws was a perfect match. The instructions are clear and include simple diagrams. They even labeled the vertical brackets ("left" & "right"). I've put together a LOT of IKEA furniture, and usually there's some point along the way where I get something backwards or have to adjust something. Not so with this - I had my TV up on the wall in under 20 minutes. And it's SOLID. As long as you sink the screws into studs, I don't see this TV going anywhere. I gave my TV a few good yanks just to test it and it didn't budge. I also didn't have any problems with the cords in the back. They're a little squished, but nothing too severe, and the TV is still flush with the bracket. The ONLY drawback is that you need pretty specific tools. The little wrench they include is useless - you'll need a full size wrench to get the bolts into the studs. You also need a screwdriver with a VERY skinny handle. The TV is held in place by screws underneath the bottom rail, and it was really hard to get a screwdriver between the TV and the wall to reach the screws. And, obviously, you need a drill. Overall, I'm thrilled with this wall mount. I wish I'd known how easy it would be - I would have done this years ago!

It's cheap in price, but definitely not cheap in quality and design. I used this to mount a 51" Samsung that's about 50lbs in weight, so can't really comment on handling the super heavy weights. The mount does feel like solid, unbendable steel. Installation was easy, although I could not trust the readings from the built-in level, as well as the small portable level. I only trusted my own 4 foot level. The vertical adjustments is from the two vertical bars secured to the back of the TV. It comes with a wide selection of screw sizes that should fit most TVs. My 51" Samsung needed the biggest screws. The horizontal mount should be nailed to studs, although it does provide screw shells in case studs are not available. The whole system does allow me to slide approximately 16 inches to allow centering of the TV in case the wall mount is off center due to matching to studs. There is a vertical plate that prevents sliding off the mount, which didn't exist in my 3 year old wall mount. That's a nice safety feature for sure. All in all, this just can't beat for the price with good quality and flexible design. I will buy again if I have to hang another flat screen TV.

I decided to purchase this mount based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews of it on Amazon, but its low price was also a big factor, although I was concerned about that, due to the old adage, "you get what you pay for". However, the mount turned out to be solidly built and easy to install. Now I do wonder who in the right mind would charge upwards of a $100 for 3 simple, metal rails - as some other manufacturers do. I'm really glad that the reviews convinced me to set my doubts aside and purchase this, instead of overpaying. The only flaw I found was that the screws provided in the package did not fit my 46" Visio HDTV set very well. That is, the only screws that fit were the long ones, which would have required plastic spacers (provided), and would not allow me to keep the TV as close to the wall as I had hoped. Thankfully, I found another set of screws in my toolbox, and those fit perfectly. If it weren't for that, a short trip to the nearby Lowe's would have solved the problem, although it would have also delayed the mounting. Other than that, the installation was simple and fast. I do recommend this mount.
