Cool cup!
Love this cup, my 8 month old is already drinking from this very real straw. The most important part for me is that the straw is like a regular straw and not the ones that you have to chew on to get water out. I never liked those straws as they discouraged drinking in my older kids when they were babies. The second most important thing for me is the straight forward design that has no crevices to grow mold. You can wash it multiple times a day without talking a hundred small pieces apart. Also, baby holds the cup by herself and drinks it easily (it’s not leak proof but those come with those challenging non realistic straws. Also, did I mention how cool they look? 😄

Almost perfect transition cup
This is the second time I've purchased this cup. I had this brand cup for my first son and repurchased it again for my second. I spent a crazy amount of time researching cups to transition to from a bottle with my first and this was by far one of the best options that I found. Is it perfect? No. But it comes pretty darn close. One of the features that I liked most was the free flowing straw. My son doesn't have to bite the straw to release the liquid. As adults we don't do that, so I didn't want him to learn that was the proper way to use a straw. However, because of that this is not a leak proof cup. If you're looking for leak proof - keep it moving. Haha. The cup is a bit transparent. I can see exactly how much liquid is inside the cup without having to open it. As an added bonus, the cup has oz measurement markings on the cup. The cup has a nice weight to it, but not so heavy that it's a chore for my sons to pick it up to drink from. Size is perfect for little baby/toddler hands to hold. The biggest drawbacks for me, were it's size and price. I wish that the cup was larger than 5oz. And since it is on the smaller size, I wish the price was not as steep. Overall, pretty decent cup... Enough so, that I purchased twice.

Great starter cup for your baby
I bought this for my 9 month old to start her using a straw. Its light weight and easy for her hold. The shape of the lid and bottom of the cup make it easy grab points for her to hold on to. And because of the silcon its easy nonslip for her to hold on to. She loves playing with the straw and it was easy for her to slurp up her first drink of water. Its a very durable cup and the lid stays secure. With many drops and throws onto the floor that lid stays on. It does leak from the straw but that is to be expected because its normal silcon straw. The straw does not have one of those stopper or restricters on them because its suppose to be an easy to suck straw. So expect liquid on the floor or table if left with the child unattended. My daughter loves to chew on the cup and straw which is actually encouraging her to want to play with the cup and use it more. It came with a sturdy straw cleaner which helps make the cleaning process even simpler. This cup is great and I highly recommend it.

Well-Designed Training Cup, Great for Toddlers Learning Straw Drinking
The Olababy silicone training cup with straw lid is a solid choice for toddlers who are learning to drink independently. The cup is made from soft, high-quality silicone that feels safe, durable, and easy for small hands to grip. The size is just right for toddlers, and the lightweight design makes it easy for them to handle on their own. The straw works well and doesn’t require too much suction, which is helpful for beginners transitioning from bottles or sippy cups. It encourages proper drinking technique and supports oral development. The silicone material is gentle on gums and teeth, which is a big plus. Cleaning is straightforward since the cup and straw come apart easily, allowing for thorough washing. It also holds up well to regular use and cleaning without losing shape or texture. The main drawback is that it’s not fully spill-proof—if tipped over or squeezed, some liquid can leak. While this is understandable for a training cup, it does require a bit of supervision, especially during early use. Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed, high-quality cup that works well for daily use, with just minor limitations.

No leak proof, but good cup
My daughter is 10 months old. We’ve dabbled with a couple of sippy cups but she didn’t quite get the hang of having to hold them up to drink, and other ones with draws have too much resistance and are a pain to clean. Decided to try this and it’s been a big hit. Perfect size for her little hands, she’s able to drink from the straw easily (though she dribbles) and it’s very durable and easy to clean. I only give water in this, because I learned very quickly that it’s not leak or spill proof, though after re-reading the description I don’t think it claims to be leak proof. Overall I do like this cup.

Not great for water, but great for smoothies!
I wanted to love this. It leaks water very quickly if baby knocks it over…. Which baby does. However, it has saved the day for smoothies or purées that don’t leak as fast! Easy to clean, easy for baby to hold. I love the color- I wish more baby stuff came in yellow! Holds a good amount and my baby can easily use a straw now :)

Great transition cup
We’ve been using the Ola silicone toddler cup for our little one and have been really happy with it. The silicone is soft but sturdy, easy for small hands to hold, and gentle on gums and teeth. It feels high quality and doesn’t have that strong silicone smell some cups do. I love that it’s simple to clean (dishwasher-safe is a huge plus) and that there aren’t a ton of parts to take apart. It works well as a transition cup and helps encourage independent drinking without being overly messy. Also perfect size measured with oz and mls. Overall, this is a well-designed, practical cup that’s clearly made with toddlers in mind. Would definitely recommend to other parents looking for a safe, easy-to-use cup.

I bought this because my toddler likes to stick her hands inside her drinking cups and also because (I find) the metal straws we have could be dangerous (risk of getting eyes poked or something else) so far it's working well. We're mostly using it at home and on short walks to or from the daycare or maybe the grocery store. Pros: -it has a lid and it holds the straw in place making it easy to drink from and keeping the mess to a lesser degree than if we were using a normal cup with a straw. -Easy to hold for my almost 2 year old. - It has volume indicators to track how much liquid was consumed. -The parts are very easy to clean -the cup also weighs a bit more (thicker base) than the usual drinking cups so its a bit more stable and doesn't get knocked over easily compared to ordinary plastic cups. Cons: -it isn't leak proof or spill proof (not that they claim it is) so it's not ideal cup to use when you're on the go.
