Cheap but effective little cooler.
Replacement for a dead cooler on a AM2 motherboard. For the price it is quite well made. Easy to mount if you line it up well before pushing down the flexible clip. Surprisingly quiet. The very thin fin design is probably a dust trap which will not be easy to clean. Then again, for the price I'll just get another one when it clogs up with dust.

Good budget cooler
Was a bit fiddly to install the heat sink onto the backplate but I’m not the most experienced PC builder. Once installed the fan runs quiet and responds correctly to the PWM fan controller on my motherboard. CPU temperatures, using arctic MX-4 thermal paste, are very low at full load. This is using an older i5-4590. I would buy this cooler again.

great value, tricky fitting
very good reduction in heat for the small price - cpu dropped 30-40 degrees. I would say that the fitting is best accomplished on a board when building but is still tight and requires a lot of pressure. I would buy a more expensive model next time, with a fitting method that relies less on pressure to lock the cooler in place.

Good cooler but had mounting issues.
The cooler itself is very good for the price and is keeping my 4690k cool, however I had quite the job mounting it, as some chip on my motherboard (a GA-Z97P-D3) was in the way of one of the clips for the cooler, so it proved very difficult to mount. I had to put the cooler's clip onto the mounting bracket and then attach the bracket to the motherboard with the cooler hanging off of it by said clip, only then did it clear them. Now this is not entirely Antec's fault, more of GIGABYTE's fault for putting them so close to the socket, but it is something to consider if you have parts of your motherboard in close proximity to the socket that may cause you trouble.Overall nice cooler that looks great, just check your motherboard as it might not fit them all, even if you have a compatible socket.

It just works
Fitted in an old PC to replace stock cooling fan for Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 [ I said it was old 8) ] .Very effective; same tasks ran CPU at 48-50° C compared to old fan with CPU at 80° C.Good price and between reasonably and very quiet.

The flimsiest fan, heatsink and the worst installation tecnique I've ever seen!
Total ballache to install, you keep biting the clips and they just fall off the plastic clips.Whoever thought that aluminum was a good material for heat dissipation??

Very good
Cooling works fine and it is very silent but there is a minor issue: The airflow direction conflicts with the case fan. Inside my case, air flows from front to back. The fan on this cooler sucks air from the outside and blows it towards the heatsink. Therefore, normally I would have installed it so that the fan faces toward the front of the case. However, that's where the hard drivers are next to the CPU. When I tried to do that, the fan blades were touching the HDD cables. The fan facing up or down wasn't possible either because the heatsink is too wide. Therefore, I had to mount it with the fan facing the back of the case. As a result, the air flow direction conflicts with the large case fan in front but this doesn't seem to have caused a problem because the motherboard temperature is 32C, CPU temp is 34C and room temp is 24C. I think these numbers are pretty good. I have a non-overclocked Intel i5-3570K CPU.The fins are paper thin and the corners bent easily so be careful. At £9.99, I think this is a good purchase. I recommend it.

3 pin fan connector.
Only a three pin fan connector on the cooler and as my AM3+ motherboard has a four pin one, I had to change the fan on the cooler to a four pin one.

Fits older am3 connectors! No need to change anything. Idle temps at 20c!
Fits older AM3 stock connectors! it's awesome! See my pictures. It's compact, and it's powerful! Only two direct copper pipes but that's OK. I have an hp p7-1010 with a Foxconn 2AB1 Mobo. This is probably the only cool radiator fan/Heatsink that would fit inside my case and in my mobo. I'm extremely happy I got this. On my Phenom II X6 1065T temps are at 20c at idle. Stressed to 75%cpu temps hit 35/38c which is awesome. My only complaint is that the fans maxes out at 1700rpm. While even my case fan spins at 2500 max. So I'm probably going to get a better fan for it, also it can be a challenge to install in a tight space if you're using the am3 connectors. I wish it had the old flip latch like the stock Heatsink. but I'm definitely happy at the temps it keeps. And it looks pretty awesome 😎.Anyway, if you have an older pc, with the old am3 connector, this will fit. Just make sure the dimensions are correct for your case and mobo. I only have about five and a half inches clearance for height. And the A30 is a little under five inches.

Does the basic job very well.
I bought this one as my earlier cpu cooler was not performing well pushing Intel i3 3rd Gen temperature to 65 to 72 deg C for even basic tasks like office work or just web browsing. made a decision to buy the Deepcool Gammaxx 400V2 blue at 1575/-. then measured the dimensions of it. its a 4 copper pipe design for better heat conduction. but when i checked the size its huge and does not fit my cabinet. then i decided to buy this budget 1099/- Antec A30 cooler. This cooler was installed in my Intel LGA 1155 socket. kindly remove any fittings if any at the back side of the motherboard. It will attach directly to the motherboard only. Follow the instruction manual. its easy to install. No RAM interference was noticed. This is a compact cooler. does the job very well. bought down the temperature from 65-70 C to 45-52 C Huge difference. Very happy with the purchase . But, I bought it for MRP 1099/- as I was in urgent need. The fan is super silent with cool blue LED light.Worth the money. Just go for it. Antec is a reputed brand in this segment.
