Changing my window theme every few months, I have had a number of sets of vinyl-type window decals from ‘ArtiClings’ and find them to be reliable in staying put on the window, although the colours fade if in bright sun for weeks on end, in my experience!Reversible & self clinging, there is no residue with this product.Full instructions are on a label on the front of the wrapper, i.e.: (1) CLEAN the window area (and that is important) (2) PEEL the sticker off the backing sheet (3) POSITION on the glassooOooPresented in a cellophane-type wrapper & a cardboard outer, this is a set of 25 Butterflies + 17 Ladybirds.The clings easily peel away from the backing sheets, once you ‘get a start’, which can need some patience but the outline is easier to see in good light and, is larger than the physical picture.Re-positionable as many times as you like, the window clings can also be returned to their sheets and reused at a later date, also in my experience.

They cling on to my windows and easily come off when I need to clean them and then can put them straight back and stay on until the next time. Also, they are decorative and I enjoy looking at them.

These butterfly 'window clings' are lovely and colourful, with a nice variety of designs - they certainly brighten up a window area - and they can also be used on some other surfaces. The ladybirds (also several different 'designs') are fun too - I gave some of those, and a few butterflies, to a young neighbour. They cling well to very smooth surfaces such as windows, mirrors and fridge door, and are also great on bathroom tiles (but didn't stay in place when I tried them on a white melamine surface).I do think that these particular stickers might not always be "two way" though - it seems to depend on the light conditions: My neighbour's windows are very well-lit and the butterflies I gave her are much less bright and more of a silhouette when viewed from the outside on a sunny day. But, in my less well-lit windows, the colours show up much better from the outside. N.B. In all cases they look fine when viewed from the inside. So, they may still be OK on eg. patio doors, to try to stop people - and pets - walking into them...?Also, good that they cling so well to windows etc, yet can be easily peeled off and relocated/re-used.P.S. Update: I ordered some more, as they're a nice little extra to pop in the post with a birthday card (just cut a few out from the 2 large backing sheets that they are supplied on).

Every year I have had several fatalities of birds hitting the windows, so this year I 'went overboard' with covering the windows with various forms of stickers. I don't imagine it matters what you stick on the window so long as the spacing is not too far apart. It doesn't look great with loads of stickers on the windows, however, it has worked this year in stopping the bird strikes. I still have had a few lesser bumps, probably mostly from young birds, but no deaths. These butterfly stickers and I also bought birds as well, have faded with the sun, but are still visible.

Lovely choice of colourful butterflies. Stick to the window easily and look so pretty.I haven’t had any birds strike the windows since I’ve put them up so they seem to be doing the trick.The cat found the butterflies very convincing and did pull a few off to start with so they could maybe stick a little better.

I bought these some time ago but have only recently used them. As we had glass curtains installed last autumn, I was concerned that when our young grandchildren came to stay, we might have some injuries with them walking into them. However, first and foremost, they were allowed to stick them on (which also meant they put them in exactly the right position for their height, ensuring they saw them in time). They loved them and they looked 'classy'. They worked very well too as nobody walked into the doors for the duration of their stay. The only problem was that some of them curled up in the sun and fell off on hot days. Nevertheless, they are a good buy, look attractive and prevent accidents. Recommend them for use in similar situations.

Lovely, bright colours and a very good assortment for the price. Cleaned the outside window and applied a small group of these stickers. These were to replace a worn bird of prey sticker, to prevent garden birds flying into glass.
