Perfect replacement for British Gas dial
I had the British Gas one and it stopped working, this is exactly the same model. Just removed the front of the old one and put the new one it, using the old backplate, 30 second job. If yours isn’t a similar replacement, it should still be easy to fit.

So easy to fit
My daughter has just moved in to her first home and money is a little tight. The thermostat stopped talking to the boiler and it was either off or on making control very difficult. The internet said this was a direct replacement for the BG version fitted and was only £16 or so. Undo the two retaining screws and the old one off and the new one on. Using the original backplate. Done in less than a minute. It controls the boiler. Not sure how accurate the temperature is but it’s just a matter of finding a setting that is comfortable for them whatever the dial says. And I was worried I it was going to be a new boiler……

A good basic thermostat. Just a switch that closes when the the temperature recroded is lower than what is set on the dial. Termination is very easy and simple. Product comes with a wiring diagram for customers who are unfamiliar or who need additional guidance. My issue is when i recieved it the dial had come off the shaft for the thermostat. You can see where the glue has just given up on life so the dial just pops off easily. I had super glue around so a quick poke and done. A silly fault but for £20 id expect them to be able to glue some plastic together. An all round good easy to use thermostat.
