Great NVME, used it to replace a 128gb default one that came with my laptop. Was easy to install, just opened up my laptop swapped it, fitted as expected, then screwed everything back on. Installed a fresh copy of windows and the rest is history. Much more storage and much faster, can't complain at all. I could have bought a higher tier of laptop with more storage but for the price difference buying this and fitting it made far more sense. Its been in my laptop for over 1.5 years and have had no issues. Great value for money.

Just the thing to upgrade my PC. I wanted the speed of SSD, but did not want to compromise on storage. I have cloud backup, but like to store my files locally too, ensuring I have everything accessible in the event of provider failure. My PC did not have a direct M.2 slot, but I bought an adapter to install in a spare PCI Express port, and this overcame the problem. I now have fast boot times, and plenty of space for everything I’m ever likely to store. I trust Kingston as a brand, and purchased from Amazon themselves, rather than the general marketplace, as I know there are bogus drives about. There was a good deal on, and I am happy with the outcome.

Works perfectly and is as advertised however for a person new with tech it may be difficult to find the ssd in settings and activate it

Coming across a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD 1TB for under £50 would normally have me thinking "What's wrong with it?". But this is Kingston, and I have never had an issue with Kingston products... this has not disappointed. It's fast, reliable, and has been running as my O/S and core system drive for a couple of months now. I've also fitted one in my housemate's PS5 and he's had no issues installing and running games from it. Definitely recommend.

I used this SSD as an external drive to my iMac M3. I recommend formatting as APFS not exFAT if your system drive is Mojave or later. When I first used the SSD, I formatted it as exFAT so that would be compatible with both my Microsoft Windows and Mac OS machines. However after several weeks some files I had saved were now corrupt i.e.no data in them. I reformatted the drive as APFS and have had no further problems for at least three months. Apart from this initial problem, I am happy with functioning of the drive.

Perfect budget NVMe drive for people looking for data storage on the cheap side of things. Great transfer speeds and gets the job done. No need to worry about temperatures as it does not get hot under load and I have had no issues.

I bought this SSD to replace my old HDD and I'm very happy with it. It was very easy to install, I just plugged it in on my motherboard and it was ready to go. No need for any cables. I tested it with h2testw and it showed that it was a genuine device with no errors or bad sectors. The speed is amazing, it is much faster than my old HDD. I would highly recommend it.

This Kingston NV2 NVMe SSD has been my OS SSD for almost a year now. This SSD is strong, reliable, decently fast, and worth every dime! I bought this SSD originally due to the price. It's substantially cheaper than other Gen 4 NVMe SSDs, which I initially thought would mean slower speeds, unreliable in the long run, or worse, dead after a bit of use. I was totally wrong. This SSD is a beast. For the price, you get a very strong storage option. For a single Terabyte (which is what I got), you get a gaming capable NVMe SSD, and an incredibly strong storage location for important files and even your operating system! You can also use the Kingston software to check the health of the SSD. And, I can confirm that, after almost a year of use, this SSD is at 100% health. That kind of performance is incredible! I play games on this SSD, store files, constantly transfer things on and off of it, and it's even the primary location for Windows to store it's data. Ultimately, the Kingston NV2 NVMe SSD, for being a Gen 4 SSD is perfect if you're on a bit of a budget. Even if you're not, this is still a phenomenal option! I'd recommend this thing to anyone, especially a first time PC builder, who may need cheaper SSD storage or an easy go-to option.

I’m using it as an external SSD and it works well, pretty fast, didn’t benchmark tho. Runs a bit warm but most NVMe drives run warm anyway unless it’s potato.

have hade for about a week and have no problems so far its not the fastest but its a good mid range option, was easy to install and came packaged well and on time, its a good budget option would recommend
