Nice unit when you don't want a CD player
Fitted well in my Swift caravan as an upgrade to the previous non DAB unit. With standard ISO connectors nowadays its mainly plug and play, long gone are the days in the 80's of crimping every cable when you change a car / caravan stereo. Unit works well. With so many functions it can be a little confusing with so few buttons to chose from, however I think the is the same for most of these type of stereo systems that are not inbuilt into a car dashboard.

Good short-chassis radio.
Good radio and quality is as good as expected. Only shortcoming is the DAB aerial connector/adaptor. In order to connect DAB aerial needed to buy and additional adapter. Thus 4* instead of 5*.

Its a stereo
Swapped out a standard Kenwood from a company van with this. Slight upgrade and the difference is the Bluetooth works! Does its job and had no complaints so far.

Don't waste your money.
Do not buy this silly radio it just looks great on paper but in reality it's a different story. My car is a renault megane 2014 and I was unable to find the stereo harness online or in the shops. I place I did find it cost me the harness itself £110.00 and then another wire Adaptor which connects with the steering wheel buttons that was £45.00 and radio antenna connection that cost me £25.00 so in total just to install this Kenwood stereo it costed me £180.00. NOW comes the fun part the silly kenwood radio kept on dropping power and will not turn on if the car engine is turn off and it will just turn off itself in the middle of the road while the car is being driven. After checking the fuses and all the wires I found out that this kenwood radio has something wrong with it. When the product was delivered from amazon the seal on the packaging was broken not the brown amazon box but the kenwood box so I think someone has already bought this kenwood stereo and they returned for whatever reason and amazon sold that to me. Please do not buy this kenwood radio because it is just rubbish and it is not and i repeat it is not user friendly at all there is no installation guide only a booklet that comes with the box and it is just rubbish.

Deaf as a post receiver. Appalling customer service
This looked good on paper but the reality was quite different. The unit was installed using a standard fit amplified dual band FM/DAB roof antenna. (BMW) Reception was OK on FM but DAB was hopeless, it wouldn't even lock on to local stations. The unit continually scanned every time it was switched on, never retaining manually stored stations and the volume came on at a frightening level when it eventually it did find a station. It was suggested that the cars stop/start system may be causing loss of memory but I find that strange as a radio should be able to retain its memory even if the battery was disconnected for a short time. However, in an attempt to resolve the issue the permanent supply wire was made using a direct connection to the battery. This didn't solve the problem. Kenwood are one of these organisations that don't offer a telephone help line and hide behind a complicated web contact with "tickets" and reply (eventually) by emails from a "noreply@" email address. They were useless, the first email said they were closing the ticket as I hadn't replied, which I had done. Then the "customer service" person took offence at a mild criticism of the service and used this as an excuse to shut down the "ticket". I returned the unit and bought the Alpine equivalent which works great. Perhaps Kenwood should stick to selling Food Mixers.

ottima
• Loudness: Off. • Bass Boost: Off. • Drive EQ: puoi lasciarlo On Low (compensa un po’ i rumori del furgone). ⸻ 2. Equalizzatore (EQ 13 bande) Curva consigliata per Spotify/MP3 + Pioneer TS-G1720F (16,5 cm) + eventuali casse da 10 cm: • 62 Hz: +2 (un filo di corpo in più) • 100 Hz: +3 (punch sui bassi) • 160 Hz: +1 • 250 Hz: 0 • 400 Hz: –1 (meno nasale) • 630 Hz: 0 • 1 kHz: +1 (più definizione voci) • 1.6 kHz: 0 • 2.5 kHz: –1 (evita fastidio) • 4 kHz: –2 (taglia l’asprezza dei tweeter interni delle Pioneer) • 6.3 kHz: –1 • 10 kHz: +1 (un filo di aria) • 16 kHz: +1 👉 Risultato: bassi pieni, voci nitide, alti addolciti (niente fischi fastidiosi). ⸻ 3. Crossover • Imposta un High-Pass Filter (HPF) sulle casse principali a 80 Hz → così non provano a suonare i bassi profondi che non gestiscono bene. • Se in futuro aggiungi un sub: mettilo a LPF 80 Hz. ⸻ 4.

Complicated & connection issues
It’s kind of a complicated Audio Unit I don’t mind that i can work my way with it but my issue here is that sometimes when I connect my blutooth to it , it can pair up to my phone easily i can read the title through the unit but no sound I have to turn it off and up and disconnect my blutooth and connect it back on and sometimes it works but it takes a lot of effort and time and I don’t like that here’s your 2 stars because it sounds nice and I like the colours feature
