Good.

I have been using the Alginate dressing on a leg ulcer, and do believe that it is helping with its healing, but sadly the healing process is slow!

It has not healed the ulcer completely but has reduced the ulcer size considerably, will continue to use.

Think I may well have an allergy to this product found it very painful in use and discontinued after a week as unable to sleep at all during use

A useful filler for medical use: e.g. folds in skin or deep wounds.

Very good arrived before time

I have had a large ulceration on my leg for several months. At first I was given Mepore dressings to cover it, but the heavy amount of exudate the wound was producing meant the dressings weren't very effective. Thankfully a nurse made the decision to switch me onto these Alginate dressings, which adhere to my skin better and are far more effective at absorbing the exudate.I had no idea how expensive these dressings are. If you can, try to get them on prescription. If you do have to pay for them though, I still recommend buying them. Since using them my wound has had a chance to heal and is slowly but surely beginning to shrink. I'm hopeful it will be completely gone soon.
