My EPSON WF-7720 printer had stopped printing colors, just in black. I took a shot with this printhead cleaning kit, figured what could it hurt? It worked! and now I can print photos again. 3 stars for easy to use because the included instructions were not clear. The photos are too small to see detail of how to attach syringe, or how to free up the print cartridge, or how to place paper toweling to catch the fluid as it flushed through. The kit includes several different tips and requires trial and error to find the best fit. I had to do an online search for videos to help and I was able to find step by step instructions, some for my exact model, others more general but with helpful tips. I spent about 45 minutes working on the cleaning process. I hope to ward off future issues by exercising the printer more often. But if it stops working again, I know how to take care of it.

Saved me from buying a new printer

I got this because the yellow print head on my Epson printer was clogged, and was printing irregular lines. The syringe is sturdy and allowed me to push with enough forse on the pluger to force the solution through. There is also plenty of solution to flush all the print heads. TIP: Put a CLOTH towel or rag under the print head to catch the water, dont use paper, it will disintegrate and will trip out your paper jam sensors. This was my case. Also pour the solution that you plan to use into a different cup, so that you dont contaminate with other ink colors. It does what you need to, but if you have never done this before, be careful you can ruin your printer.

This product functioned just like it is supposed to, however, a person should know that if you are disconnecting your print heads in the way that this cleaning kit requires you to, you may lose the functionality of the printheads - at least for an EcoTank, anyway. When you first purchase the printer, and throughout the printer's lifetime, it warns you to not let the ink run out. When you disconnect the printheads to clean using this kit, you are essentially running the printer out of the ink that it is primed with. Because of this, I believe the printheads lose their functionality. Even after cleaning the printheads and confirming that ink could get through them, I was never able to get that original "prime" back. Value for the money - yes, this kit has everything you need. It cleans the heads very effectively. Due to the reasons I mentioned here, however, I can not comment on "color quality".

I followed instructions to the letter. This after I watched multiple videos on YouTube. The deal is the solution is either incompatible with dye ink or it doesn't work to dissolve a clog. When I started, the cyan was functioning wierd and indicated possibly a partial block/clog, but after several repeats of the solution and tests, the other colors that were never blocked came back to functioning after the ink flowed back in to the cleared printheads, but the cyan became completely blocked so that no ink comes through at all. And no air or solution could flow through the printhead eventually. So basically, if you have a clog, use warm water. The kit is really only very functional for the parts and accessories that help out. If you have a syringe and various tubes or straws and paper towels, you likely have all you need. I do not believe the solution is any better than what you likely have in your typical home cleaning solutions under the kitchen or bathroom sink.

The kit itself was easy enough to figure out except which nozzle to use for the HP cartridge. The instructions most likely described them correctly, but they were so tiny, I could not read them with my glasses. It took longer to figure out which attachable nozzle to use than clean the printhead 3 times! Other than that, the cleaning itself was easy and there was more than enough cleaning solution supplied.

This kit was missing parts. I don't know if it has really helped. The liquid cleaner does not have any odor. But it is very slow to dry. The missing parts did not stop me from using it. I was able to get the little tube over the nub in the print cartridge tray and squirt the liquid through. I just don't like to find kits incomplete. - UPDATE I have cleand the print head using all the provided fluid....a real mess and two days. A chunof time is spent waiting for the fluid to dry enough to do a printer head cleaning cycle. The print quality has decrease with each flush. I have wasted a whole set of new ink cartrages because of the flush and the head clean maintance to get the printer to just pring somethings each time. I went from a few light and missing lines to text that isn't readable and lines that destry a nice appearance of any image I print. I do not recomend since I now need to purchase a new printer.

This is a good product working really good on cleaning your sublimation printer

Al principio dudé, porque ya mi impresora estaba tapada completamente, por dejarla sin uso mucho tiempo. Primero dejé remojando una de las brochas debajo del cabezal toda la noche. Luego la retiré y lavé la brocha para ahora frotar manualmente debajo de los cabezales. Finalmente agregué un poco de líquido en el recipiente del cabezal, para adelgazar la tinta. Ya con esto inicié el proceso de limpieza de cabezales mediante el software de la impresora. Y Magia !!!

I've used a lot of ink in the past trying to unclog a printer. This did the job. Saved throwing it out and buying a new one.
