We have only had this for four days so this is an early review, but the difference it has made so far as been astounding.We have problems with mould in the bedroom of our flat, and when we turned the dehumidifier on, our humidity level was 81%. Since running it day and night for these first few days, the humidity has gone down to 62% and the amount of water this thing collects is crazy. We went for the 12L as we don’t mind emptying the tank, if that’s something that bothers you perhaps go for a bigger model - but I’d say it’s a good thing to be emptying the tank frequently as it shows it’s doing it’s job.With regards to noise, the machine does give off a constant hum, but that is to be expected on any dehumidifier worth your time probably. It doesn’t bother us sleeping in the same room as the machine at night and actually it works well as white noise for me.It’s pretty heavy, but the sturdy carry handle makes this much easier. As long as you don’t have any issues with your back/ lifting, it will be absolutely fine to move around.I suffer quite severe asthma and allergies, and this morning was the first morning in a long time that I woke up not coughing and wheezing, so if you’re an allergy sufferer with high humidity in your house I highly recommend this. We haven’t even tried the air purifier function yet, but it goes to show how much allergens high humidity alone can cause without you even realising.Well worth the money spent, and I have a lot of faith in this sturdy little machine even though it’s early days!

Purchased this dehumidifier as I had a voucher to spend on Amazon. It's more expensive than some other dehumidifier on here, but it's quiet running, isn't that expensive to run for hours at a time and removes a decent amount of moisture from the air. Has laundry mode too which works great when placed in a small room.

I've been after one of these for a while, but due to the energy prices they've been pretty hard to get.I finally managed to get one and it's massively better than the old one we have, which took days to dry washing. I dried a full load of clothes and 2 bath sheets from a previous load overnight in the dining room, going from nearly 80% humidity to just under 50% by the time we woke up and checked it. Everything dry, no issues.2 drawbacks, however. It is a bit noisy so make sure it's far enough away from your bedroom overnight, and it's really heavy even without water in it. Not an issue if it just sits in the same place, but if you move it about it is something to consider.All in all, 8/10. Dries really well, reasonably quiet (you can hear a quiet hum from the next room, but you couldn't sleep with it on in the same room etc). Quite heavy but then again it does draw a lot of water out of the room it's in, so worth the trade off.

REVIEWING THIS EXCELLENT MACHINE AFTER 5 YEARS - PERFECT USE, STILL GOING STRONG.Bought my first house in 2017 (2 bed terrace in rainy Manchester) and noticed the house was starting to feel damp. Previous owners had a dehumidifier on landing, but hadn’t considered one, as thought with heating on more often there’d be no damp issue. There are only allotments behind the house, so nothing shields us from the elements. Have great central heating and efficient boiler and happy to open windows when needed (laundry drying), but always found condensation on the windows and my bedding increasingly felt cold/damp.I did a little research and went for Meaco low energy as midrange cost, plus timer for laundry mode. Item arrived in perfect condition and on time - quite heavy, but solid handle and sleek design.I plugged it in on Saturday 1pm upstairs and set humidity for 50%. First reading in front bedroom 77% and upstairs landing 68%. Left the machine running over 24hours and removed 12 litres of water! When I went out and came back Sunday early evening I noticed the house felt different - the air quality was clearer already. Although you can leave this machine in one location to regulate the whole house (2-5 bedrooms), I moved the dehumidifier downstairs Sunday eve as curious about the level (63% which quickly dropped to 55%). Overnight moved it back upstairs and by Monday morning humidity was 50%, so turned it off. When I got in last night, house felt amazing! Used machine for just 1 hour (and 30 minutes this morn) in the front bedroom/landing which gets little sunlight through the winter months. Humidity again quickly dropped from 68% to 53% which I’m happy with.I rarely write product reviews, but was so impressed. It changed my whole house in only a few days, so if you have damp or condensation with little air flow, this machine will be a life saver. Energy use is very low and not had the heating on as much as the machine omits warm air, so all round star buy. Very happy, no more damp bedding.The only minor down side is the noise – there’s a hum if placed on laminate upstairs which vibrates through the whole house. On carpet very little noise. I got used to it quickly, so only a minor detail for what is otherwise an amazing little machine.

Very happy with the performance to keep the whole home drier in the winter . Glad I paid the extra cost for such a good dehumidifier.

I have just began using the dehumidifier-air purifier combo, 12L. Clear instrctions were quite helpful. The whole thing weighs little if I was uising as a mobile unit. It looks good as well, no sharp edges. It works fine and the extra heoa filter is appreciated, looking forward to seeing how much will be filtered in the coming days and weeks. Emptying the water an easy task.

Don’t expect it to work instantly, it took the best part of a week before it started cutting in and out. You have to give it time to get your property to the humidity you’ve set.Mine has been working perfectly, even the central heating seems to work better, condensation now minimal or none at all. It has settled my 4 bed house to 50%. Two weeks since purchase, very happy.
