I purchased these camera's a year ago. They were easy to setup and use with the app. I found the quality of alerts and the ability to manipulate the camera live to be excellent. I use an sd card to store my videos and find that works well with no loss of images. I live in Michigan with limited sun in the winter. I have positioned the solar panels as such that the state of charge as remains full. So no issue with battery life through the winter. I have had to contact customer support on occasion and they have been excellent. They have been very prompt and polite with their responses that have helped me. I would not hesitate is purchasing these cameras again.

I got these cameras to alert when packages are delivered - because instructions are not followed and packages are left out in the rain. :( And when we visit family I want to know who is coming and going while we are away. These cameras work great. The normal image quality is great and the IR image quality is fine, a little cloudy but works well enough for the motion detection to work, which is what I wanted. Motion detection is great and have active zones so that the detection areas can be identified and customized. The solar panel keeps the battery up at 99% even in these few weeks where there have been many rain storms. When I received the cameras, they needed a FW update - big surprise. But because of my poor ISP, the connection lagged enough to where the FW update process timed out. We have this problem streaming live TV also. I think it is because of the ISP's switches and routers are over subscribed and the tables get cleared and have to reestablish the route and things stop for enough time that the FW update fails. Updating my TV firmware also fails and I have to perform a manual update with a USB drive. It would probably be helpful if the timeout was increased for these cameras. So, I contacted Sovmiku support. They were very responsive, many times replying immediately or the following morning - which is good for being in Hong Kong. They provided a FW image and detailed instructions, with pictures, to create a SD card to upgrade the cameras along with instructions to remove and reinstall the cameras in the App so that the app would pick up the current FW version. I want to say thank you to Sovmikuy support for the great job and satisfying outcome. I'm thinking of purchasing two more cameras and will certainly buy these again.

We have these set up at our home and loved them so much I added them to my Boutique so I can check in on the shop at any time. They don’t need anything but solar energy and the battery lasts for days. They were easy for me to set up and screw into the wall fairly easy. The app is so easy to use. I was able to add the shop cameras to our home ones so I can check in on everything any time we want. It’s definitely an added sense of security and at such a great deal!

I'm absolutely satisfied with my Vicohom solar security camera! The installation was a breeze., The picture quality is crystal clear, and I love that I can monitor my property from anywhere using the mobile app. The solar panel has been reliable, ensuring continuous power and reducing my worries about battery life. UPDATE: AVOID. After using this for nearly 3 weeks, I returned it. The application is horrid not even ALPHA version, full of bugs and does not record properly. I am surprised how they release a product for sale with such a bad quality application. Remember the application is what you interface with, the camera itself it installed somewhere remote. So YOU only interact with application and its absolute useless. Delay recording, not recording on Micsosd, only 20 second recording, incomplete recording (I was in front of the camera for 5 minutes moving stuff and it only recorded 8 seconds, not even from the very beginning. I am typically a positive person writing good reviews but this one is unacceptably bad. ----------------------- Of I start with what I like. Pros: it comes with solar panel which easily charges it in the few hours of sun and can work I would say more than a day so if you have 2 rainy days it should work through it. The best thing about solar is that you can install anywhere so we have to where I don't want to run wires and works great. The build quality is excellent. The camera rotates and has light for color night video recording. It comes with 2 pack which is a great deal for me. For these reasons I have decided to stick to 5 star. Cons: Like a few others I bought and had to return, this suffers from really weak app development, I would say not even alpha version. First off I don't pay for the $/month/per camera cloud service. For me it doesn't record on SD, only cloud. And records only 10 seconds which is difficult to justify. I have sent 6 tickets to manufacturer for their app issues. I am still keeping it because despite having the same issues as other solar cameras in bought, this one has nicer build quality and the 2 pack was less than $50/camera so it does the job

This camera works very well with the solar attachment. Charges quickly and holds charge very well. Alert on camera work fast. Very clear view good quality. Video is very good. Field view is very good.

I bought ywo of these to put on a horse trailer I have parked at a ranch. These were so easy to install and setup on my phone that it only took maybe ten minutes and they were up and working. I've had these for over two years now and never had a problem. Even when they have not exposed to full sunlight I've never experienced a low battery or lack of power. I like the fact that I can see what's going on in real time no matter where I am. I've recommended these to my friends who have also purchased them and installed them on their ranches to keep an eye on equipment and access. Everyone swears by them. I also like the fact that you can set motion detection to varying levels and that you can preset locations so I can select a location and the camera will pan to that location automatically. All of this can be done remotely. I've included a video of one of the cameras panning to give you an idea of the quality. As I have stated, These are the best cameras. Look no further.

Unless you can plug these into electrical, the solar is worthless. I have it located in a FULL sun window & it doesn't power the camera at all. I placed it purposely in the location for the amount of sun it gets & it does not power the camera at all.

So far so good. When i first got the cams i could not get them both to show a LIVE PREVIEW. It would always fail saying a network problem however motion detection snapshots were coming in and the Wireless connection was strong. I reached out to the seller who promptly replied and went out of his way to push a firmware update to both cameras. Now i'm not sure if the firrmware update fixed the issue or me messing with settings in my Vantic Cobra Modem but either way everything within the cams work fine. Both have remained fully topped up in charge for over a week despite always motion detecting 24/7. We've had several rainy days too. Overall i'm quite pleased with the stability and reliable motion detection. I am using a TF card in both cams which allows me to capture (photo/video) to the card direct and later download to my device. Good stuff.
