**5-Star Review: A Lifesaver for Dental Emergencies – DenTek Home Dental First Aid Kit**
I recently purchased the DenTek Home Dental First Aid Kit, and I couldn’t be happier with this product! It’s an absolute must-have for anyone who wants to be prepared for unexpected dental issues like lost fillings or loose caps. The kit is compact, well-organised, and incredibly easy to use. It comes with clear instructions, making it simple to temporarily repair a lost filling or secure a loose cap without any hassle. The dental adhesive is strong and effective, providing a secure hold until you can visit your dentist. What I love most about this kit is its convenience. It’s perfect for keeping at home, in your car, or even in your travel bag, so you’re always prepared for those unexpected dental emergencies. It’s saved me from discomfort and worry on more than one occasion, and I feel much more confident knowing I have a reliable solution on hand. The quality of the materials is excellent, and the kit is very reasonably priced for the peace of mind it provides. I highly recommend the DenTek Home Dental First Aid Kit to anyone looking for a practical, effective, and affordable solution for minor dental emergencies. It’s a true lifesaver! 5 stars without a doubt – this product delivers exactly what it promises!

Pretty good
I needed this product as a piece of a molar had fallen off (I blame the Christmas Florentines) the day after Boxing Day, with no hope of seeing my dentist for some days. The tooth edges were very sharp and cutting my tongue, so I had to find a temporary solution. This kit has been invaluable and I would recommend it for anyone who needs a temporary fix. This will not last for a long time. If you forget that it is there and you accidentally chew on it, it will not stay in place and you will have swallowed it before you realise. If you are very careful, it will last for a few days. As far as getting the temporary filler to stay in place, I found that I needed much less of the filler than I thought, I also found that it was easy enough to add more filler on the occasions that I had underestimated. A hole in your tooth feels like a chasm, but isn't really! I used the clove oil first and rolled a small amount of the filler between my fingers to get it malleable, before pushing it in and smoothing it off. It doesn't seem to matter if everything is wet with saliva. It may roll out straight away, but just relax and push it back in. Be careful when biting on it (to ensure that the filling is not too high) as you can manage to pull the temporary filling out again. I tried introducing some concave dents with my fingers rather than much biting down. Smooth the sides gently with your finger/tongue. The tool was no help with the application to the tooth, but helped get the material out of the very little pot. As others have mentioned, ideally do this before you go to bed to give it a chance to set, though I'm not sure if this would work very well with the tooth grinders. (I have a gum shield to protect my teeth). I have had to wait for a couple of weeks to see the dentist and I have re-filled the tooth 4 times, so far. I would definitely recommend this, but it is not foolproof. You may have to work at perfecting your technique....

Can’t use
This is no good because you have to go to a dentist couple days after using, and of course we couldn’t get in to a dentist anywhere So not using it

Very good filling of applied correctly
If used correctly, it works wonders! I've filled a space where filling has fallen out, and it's now day 4 and it's still there. This is what I do; I find it works best before bed as it gives time for the filling to set. I brush my teeth and swallow saliva and dry the area with some paper towel. I use the Eugenol on a cotton bud and apply it to the area. I prepare a small ball on my finger using the flat end to scoop a bit off. Roll it into a ball and pop it in the area and press it down. I use my finger to gently wipe excess off the area. After this, try not to disturb the area. Just keep tongue movement to minimal and go to bed. Next day it's set. I avoid eating on the side affected, as the temporary filling is affected by eating. This helps it stay put longer.

Horrific experience - Wated my money on this!
We all get desperate when we lose a filling or break a tooth and getting a dentist these days is near impossible, so what do you do?, you buy a product like this.......... BIG MISTAKE from my experience. Depending on your needs, filling a cavity or broken tooth can be easy of totally difficult, for me it was hard. The applicator was of no use at all, it pulled out the filler, so I would imagine it is only any good when packing a hole and pressing the filler in, otherwise you have to apply with your finger. The taste is totally vile, I have to take mints to bed with me as I wake with the most nasty taste in my mouth that even brushing my teeth will not remove. The taste is bitter and similar to bile and wakes me several times a night. Given the option, I would rather have my tooth pulled than use this product again!

Good little kit in a pinch.
As we all know it’s near on impossible to get to the dentist at present but I used this for my front passenger side crown (you’ll notice it doesn’t quite sit right in the pic) and I was pleasantly surprised. I took a blow to the face in November (sport related) and my crown was knocked out and cemented back on by the dentist. 2 months later and it fell back out (turns out i need a root canal which will be done in 2 appointments over the next 4 weeks). The dentist put some not so strong cement on and because my infected tooth is so hell bent on knocking the crown off it lasted 2 days. Rather than keep ringing them and asking for it putting back on to be told they can see me in a week I got this stuff. If I said it was easy to use I’d be lying. In theory it is. You just clean the teeth, scoop a bit of putty out the tiny jar, roll it into a ball and in the crown it goes then just pop it back in. All went well for me until I couldn’t get it to sit. Use a lot less cement than you think you need is my advice cos it’s a ballache to scoop out. Takes a few hours to set but so far so good.

Good buy. Recommend if you need to fill a tooth cavity.
Recived this item a few days late. I was very excited when it came. I opend the packaging and layed everything on a towel along with a cotton earbud cleaner and a flossing toothpick. I opened the Eugenol which smelled of cloves. I know this would numb and disinfect the area. It said it would help the tempering to stick to it. (Don't know how) I streached the wool at the end of the ear bud and dipped the tip in the eugenol and put it on the area I needed to cover. It just oozed down my tooth and into my gums and under my tongue. Ouch did that burn and sting, my eyes filled with water I almost cried . I had to stick a flannel into my mouth to wipe up the slobber it created. My tongue went a we bit numb. And then everything calmed down then I proceeded with the next step. I opened the tempering and chopped a tiny bit of putty off with the tool provided and rolled it between my thumb and finger then stuffed the empty tooth cavity until it came out the sides. I used the toothpick to clean up the sides and then used the same saturated earbud to seal the putty. Which I was so fearful to use again but it all turned out ok. Don't know what I was so scared of... lol Jobs a good one. 7 June let's see how long this lasts.

Efectivo
Las instrucciones están en inglés, uno de los frascos viene vacío el otro con eugenol y el otro asumo que es el óxido de zinc. Solventó mi emergencia dental.

Has a short expiry date.
This product was full price with an eight month expiry date. It should have been a couple of years. Obviously old stock. When I applied for a refund they said I had to send it back first. I wasn’t spending anymore money on this. Disappointing.
