The Good Shelf Company Farmhouse Table (5'x3') Painted legs, Fawley Cream, with an Antique Pine Top

Lovely well made table. No chairs with it. Lively delivery man who built it for me. Very happy with the service and quality. Very good looking table.

I bought this (farmhouse table and 4 chairs) directly from the Good Shelf Company's website, because I wanted a different sized table with a smooth paint finish, and there is more choice on their own site. It took 5 weeks to arrive. When I rang them to enquire, they explained that most items, wherever they were ordered from, were made to order. I didn't mind, to be honest, I've waited longer for a three-piece suite.It was delivered by courier, in four enormous boxes, and I mean ENORMOUS - they filled my kitchen. Initially, I was a bit concerned - they looked far too big for one table and four chairs, but that was down to the packaging - it was very well protected. It took over an hour to unwrap everything, and two car trips to the council skips to dispose of all the bubble wrap and cardboard. The smell of fresh paint wafting through the packaging was very strong - they must have sent it as soon as it was dry.The chairs were fully assembled, sturdy, attractive, and comfortable to sit on, with an immaculate paint finish in my chosen colour - not a trace of any brush or spray marks, just a perfect smooth finish - I wish I knew their method.It was also quite a novel experience for me - not having to assemble my furniture.The table just needed the legs attaching, but I didn't need tools - 2 butterfly nuts to tighten on each leg, and it was rock solid. It was also immaculate - a perfectly smooth pine top, and more of that unbelievably smooth paint finish.So to sum up, I'm delighted with it (photo attached). I've had numerous compliments about it, it looks lovely, and I would be happy to buy from this company again.
