5/16 Inch Cobalt Drill Bit Set, M35 Jobber Length Twist Drill Bits,Suitable for Drilling in Hard Metal, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron,5 Pieces

Used one of these the other day and worked great on 14 ga. mild steel. Don't use these as much as I did before for work, but these seem strong and sharp.

These BECOLLO drill bits are the best I’ve used anywhere. I was trying to drill a 3/16” hole in a 5/8” pc of old cast iron and I had several to do. I burned up every 3/16 name brand and off brand bit I had, probably 5 in total, with not even one hole drilled. I took a chance on these and I can’t believe how sharp and durable these things are. They drilled through the old cast iron like it was hot butter. I finished the hole I had started and drilled 5 more holes with ONE bit and it’s still sharp! I now own every size of these bits they sell on Amazon and they are all great.

Works ok, price is right

I bought 5 different sizes of this brand of bit and I've been really happy with them. I mostly use them on mild steel, so your mileage may vary if your materials are harder.

I have not tested yet on any kind of iron or steel; check back later for any update . . .
