It covers different aspects of growing and using herbs, including lots of practical tips and ideas. For someone who is more advanced in this topic I think this book might not be enough. Interesting book
Arrived damaged so I sent it back as it was intended as a gift. Went to Waterstones instead. The book content seemed interesting with a lot of quality pictures.

Lovely quality book which would make a nice gift.
This is a really lovely book. The hardback cover is slightly textured and has the cover design printed directly onto it, giving it a very high quality feel. Inside, the pages are printed on good quality, creamy paper and it's attractively laid out, with columns of text and nice botanical illustrations of the plants. There's also recipes/instructions for preparations using the plants, illustrated using photographs. I'm no expert on the subject and I bought it mostly for the botanical illustrations so I can't comment on how in-depth the content is, but it's certainly a very nice reference book for a lay person like me. I think it would make a lovely gift for someone interested in the subject.
