Rust in Peace: My Surprising Love Affair with Stain Away 7
I used to cringe every time I spotted a rusty mark—whether on my clothes, patio stones, or that random metal garden ornament I just couldn’t let go of. It felt like rust was slowly taking over my life, and I was powerless to stop it. Enter HG Stain Away 7, and suddenly, I’m whispering sweet nothings to a tiny 50ml bottle.First time I tried it, I dabbed a bit on an old shirt that had been a victim of a rusty washing machine drum. Let me tell you, that shirt hadn’t looked this fresh since it came home from the store. I stood there in shock, thinking, “Where have you been all my life?” as the rusty splotch all but melted away. But this product isn’t satisfied with just saving my wardrobe—it wants to take on the whole household. Tiles, flagstone, concrete, natural stone—it’s like the ultimate multi-surface love fest. The minute I saw it erase those grimy, orangey stains from my outdoor steps, I knew we had a special connection. No more scrubbing until my arms ached. Just a little squeeze, a gentle scrub, and those stubborn marks went poof. And guess what? It’s still safe for textiles, so no need to handle it with the caution of a chemistry class. That means I can chase away rust on a shirt, then pivot straight to the flagstones outside, feeling like some sort of stain-destroying superhero who doesn’t need a sidekick.Plus, let’s talk about the size. At 50ml, it’s pretty compact, which means I can keep it tucked in a cupboard or even slip it into a bag when I go on my mission to save the world from rust (or at least my relatives’ patios). It’s all the power I need, distilled into one small but mighty bottle. So if you’re fed up with those unsightly orange marks taunting you day after day, it might be time to invite HG Stain Away 7 into your home. Because once you see how effortlessly it unlocks the iron gates of rust, you’ll realize: there’s no greater thrill than telling a stubborn stain to rust in peace.

Perfect for getting rust spots out of whites
I had some weird orange spots on white towels that normal stain removers weren't shifting and a bit of research suggested it might be rust spots. I bought this rust stain remover on the off chance it would work and it was brilliant, the rust spots were completely gone within about 10 minutes of application. Honestly you don't get a lot of product for your money, I used most of a bottle on a couple of white towels with one or two small rust spots on each, but it does do the job well and first time round so definitely still cheaper than replacing towels.

Works, but needs patience
I used it on old iron stains on tiles in a washroom. I used toilet tissue to keep the solution on the stains without drying out, and left it for several hours. The stains were greatly reduced, and a second treatment removed them entirely. For extensive stains you need a lot more than this small bottle. But it does work, if you're patient and arrange for it to have plenty of time to work without drying out. The stains I was dealing with were old rust stains that other cleaners didn't touch.

Useless product; tiny bottle
I have lots of rust stains on my fitted sheets. I have deduced that this rust is from my metal clothes airer. I replaced the airer, but still get the stains. However, these stains only appear on sheets, so it has to be due to the way that the sheets drape over the airer and rest on some metal part whilst damp, thereby absorbing the metal and leaving rust marks on the fabric. Anyway, this was upsetting as I had to keep replacing my cotton sheets. I read all the reviews here for this product and bought it, hopefully. The product did absolutely nothing to remove the stains from my white sheets. Even if the product were effective, I would require a much, much larger quantity than is contained in this tiny bottle. The product itself is quite irritating to the eyes and throat, so it cannot be used for long enough to tackle the streaks and swirls of rust stains on my bed linen. Useless and immensely disappointing product.

Removes suncream stains!
I found out from a bit of research that the yellow stains produced on white fabric from using all-day sun cream is a kind of rust and that this would work on them. I wet the fabric and applied to the marks, left it for a short time and sure enough they disappeared! Washed as normal afterwards.Just want to spread the word as it is so frustrating when your lovely white garments seem ruined! Try this.Yes it is expensive for what it is, I put some in a little spray bottle to eke it out. Worth it in my opinion.

Brilliant!
Husband has a designer white top with a leather and metal badge logo on it. Cost him a fortune. He managed to spill his dinner down it, so I soaked the top as normal before washing. However, the metal rusted!!! It left orange marks on the top I couldn't get out.Husband was gutted.Thought I would try this as a last resort and it's bloody brilliant!!!Top saved!! Happy Husband who thinks his wife is brilliant lol!
