This works wonders. Helps clean my hair really well. Lathers nicely and smells good. I use it ever 3-4days than once a week since I used to get greasy quick. But i have noticed this helps the greasy hair not get greasy as quickly. I could go longer than 4 days (I have alot of products I use to make my head greasy) I usually use this shampoo for the first wash and use my other shampoo for the second wash to give my hair some hydration. Overall great shampoo.

Works great without drying your hair out. All of their products are wonderful. Though a bit of a learning curve. Ive read a lot of mixed results in the reviews. This particular product is to give your hair a good thorough cleaning of all those residues from hair products. It’s concentrated so you won’t need a ton. Just add a little see if it lathers add more as needed. I work it thru my hair down to the scalp. Then let it sit for bit to let it break down the residue. Slightly towel blot dry tour hair. Even better if you have a nice microfiber hair towel to just gently squeeze and blot your hair to remove excess water but leave it still damp wet. You’re not drying it. You’re preparing it for the conditioning stage in step 2. This is imprtant, Especially for curly hair. (I have a hair wrap towel from Diva Curls and I love it!) This step is to remove excess water but leave it still wet enough to help when you apply the conditioner step. Then move on to and finally the hair oil. That seals and protects the hair and helps it to be soft and shiny I think the success of these products really is dependent on using each products in its order. Just learn about each one a bit before you dive right in. They're costly and so learning how to use them will help you not burn right thru it. I have fine hair but it’s also very thick and curly. I’m almost done with my first full size order. I tried a sample kit first. Then purchased the full size shampoo the conditioner and the hair oil. And you may be shocked at the size of the conditioner as I’m a person who typically load my hair with it as I tend to have dry curly ends. And my first thought was this can’t be right it’s too small. It requires very little. I do however have to use more to really get it fully saturated. That’s my one complaint. It’s a lot of money and that took some adjusting. Hence the advice to learn about what your buying and potentially using. I’d recommend these products. I’m curious to see how this company evolves. I hope this is helpful information.

I am 71 years old with thin, baby-fine hair. I’ve always had a problem with every product designed for volume weighing my hair down. I tried K-18 on a whim and it is exactly what I’ve been looking for! My hair feels soft, is shiny, looks bouncy and hydrated and best of all, not greasy! I bought the whole line and I love it all. It’s expensive, but you only use a tiny bit. An added bonus, I see very little hair in my brush or shower and lots of baby hair growing in. The picture is just after I washed it with K18 shampoo, no conditioner, and 1 pump of the K18 leave-in mask. I imagine it would work as well for any hair type, but it is a real game changer for fine, thin hair.

Based on my hair type, my stylist suggested I use K18 products, and it's been the best change for my hair! I really like this shampoo for oil control and hard water.

I usually use scalp scrubs, but this is my first clarifying shampoo, it did the job of cleaning my hair very well. I bought it to use the K18 treatment. So I didn’t use conditioner or mask after. It did make my hair dry but also my hair still have a bit of dryness on the ends from highlights I did a year ago. However after using the mask my hair was good to use, so I guess I will just use this shampoo when am using the K18 treatment mask. Lately I usually have a bit of oily roots after the day I shower as I do make scalp oiling and hair and feel that other shampoos don’t really get rid of all of the oil, so I feel this shampoo is good to use after oiling hair as it really gets all of the oils out. I have a long and very very thick hair and usually my hair takes long to dry but when I used this my hair dryer very fast. I think this shampoo should be used maybe maximum twice or once a month, as it really does what it say it cleans your hair from everything, and it’s a good thing to use before K18 treatment mask. It’s considered affordable for me the bottle would last me for months personally as I would use it twice a month, I think people who have oily scalp should definitely use it more as usually the second day after I put oil on my hair, my roots are oily, but after I used this one it’s not oily at all.

K18 shampoo removed my product residue, and left my hair soft, not brittle or sticky. I’ve never tried K18 shampoo, but after looking online for a good clarifying shampoo that won’t strip the color from my hair, this was highly recommended. I have to say, so far I love it, and if it continually keeps my color and my hair shiny, I will keep buying this.

This shampoo removed all the buildup in my hair from Oribe shampoo and henna treatments. I have been using Oribe Gold shampoo for a year or so, and it was great for most of that time, then the buildup started weighing my hair down, and I lost all the bounce in my curls. One shampoo with K18 and my curls were bouncy again. Now I used it around once a week to keep the buildup from weighing down my hair. I like the smell, and the dark colour is kind of cool, but mostly I like that it works.
