Wynn's Turbo Cleaner - Safe for Diesel & Petrol Engines DPF/EGR - 200ml

5 stars this spray actually works I’ve had a blocked dpf which blocked everything up on my Astra k 1.6cdti especially the turbo….. I’ve used the whole can and it has worked wonders boost is now kicking in much better but I do think I’ll need a second can…. So if you’re turbo isnt kicking in when it should I highly recommend this wynns spray but get two or a bigger can 👍👍👍👌

Wow! Okay so this fixed my P0234 overboost fault code. Apparently my variable geometry turbo was stuck open and wouldn't idle nicely. This stuff has cleaned it right out! And probably half the stuff behind it too. Let's be honest a new turbo is nearly 400 quid plus fitting.... I got a can of this under ten quid and then I bought another one while the price was still low. Definitely a must for diesels that have been running supermarket diesel all their lives, and a lifesaver for P0234

I've had my car for 2 and a bit years, it's a moderately old car, 11 years and counting. I used this after some Wynns 7in1 fuel additive, and some Wynns EGR cleaner. It was running considerably better after those, but I decided to give it some Turbo Cleaner anyway to keep on top of things. Honestly, the difference wasn't noticeable, but I don't think there was anything wrong with the turbo to begin with, hence why I couldn't give it a full 5 stars, as I am unsure how well it worked. What I do know is that it didn't break my car, and wow, was it scary adding this stuff. Most people put this into where their air filter is, or after the MAF, which, from what I can tell you, MUST not do. I had to go online for the instructions, and they mention that you can't get this into your intercooler, and yeah, that makes sense. This stuff is strong enough to strip paint off your car, so you don't want it near anything fragile like your MAF or intercooler channels. I put it in just after the intercooler and just before the throttlebody, it tells you to gett as close to the intake manifold and that's the best I could do, I had my dad on throttle duty and it tells you not to exceed 2000rpm (and keep it above 1800 not just leave it on tickover), but he doest understand subtlety despite my specific instructions and when it tried to stall (the spray does that its expected) he just floored it, but its good to know that this doesn't actually break your car, may have made it less effective though. I ended up only using half a can, as the "10 minutes" they say it will take is complete rubbish, and I was there about 20 minutes to use just half the can.

Straw that attaches to the aerosol doesn't attach very well and disappears up the turbo when you attempt to use it, if you throw the straw in the bin, great product which gets rid of EML light, if you use the straw, be sure you know how to strip your turbo

10/10 - Had EM light and fault code P2562 on my Hyundai I30 for the past year. Sprayed a can of this into the intake and the light is off! So easy! Feels like new to drive too.

I purchased this product in February 2021 purely as a maintenance procedure to ensure my turbo diesel engine always ran at its best, before i applied the product i read through the instructions printed on the tin and was happy to go ahead, after i had reconnected my air hose back to the intake i restarted the vehicle and gave it about 8 revs up to 2000 rpms and let the engine idle for a little longer, i then drove down the road making sure i never exceeded 3000 rpms, after changing gear from 2nd to third gear the engine revs wouldn't stop and went past the rev limit of my engine, i immediately switched off the engine. After a few minutes i restarted the engine and to my horror there was smoke pouring out from under the bonnet and it wouldn't tick over properly also making a loud ticking noise, i got the RAC to come out and he checked the engine and started it and turned it straight back off advising me the engine had suffered damage due to the excessive revs and would have to be stripped down and inspected, i have had a quote for this and it would cost £1700 to have the engine removed and stripped down and advised in this case it would be far better to have a new engine which would cost £3000. So be very wary about this product as my vehicles engine was in very good order before using this product and now I'm having to walk everywhere due to not having enough money to get the engine fixed and basically have lost my vehicle. Please try to use another method to keep your car in good running order as this product Clearly caused this problem on my vehicles engine and isn't worth the risk!!!!!!!

A little on the spendy side but after using the product my truck ran much smoother.

Produit essayer. Mais il n’a pas réglé mon problème. Peut-être que mon problème était ailleurs, il faut que je continue ma recherche de panne. Ceux qui avait un réel problème de géométrie turbo j’espère qu’il me donneront leurs avis qui sera certainement plus parlant.
