They seem sturdy and well built
Theyโre heavy and sturdy they look good. They came with Teflon tape and two extra washers. The permanent attachment screw is nice. It wonโt break off and it was $85 less than a namebrand one and itโs really good. These are supposed to make noise when you leave your hose on, backflow and flood prevention thatโs what theyโre designed to do.

Not for low flow systems
These seem fine, but when used in a low pressure drip irrigation system they create an intolerably loud whine that resonates on every water pipe in the house. Ultimately I ended up returning and going with a plastic rainbird product that did not whine.

Not auto draining
Bought this kit for my 5 outside hydrants. I installed all of them. The first one I used, failed to drain out after the water was shut off. My $200 hydrant froze. I didn't bother trying the rest. I attempted to contact the manufacturer But was routed to the standard Amazon replace or return option. Returning for a refund.
