Very clear clean view.
Gifted my wife. She loved it. its light weight and perfect for watching sports in stadiums or bird watching on the cliffs. a wonderful gift. Its slightly expensive maybe but its worth the value for long run.

Great binoculars.
An excellent product, perfect for my needs. Didn't realise they were coming from the EU so was unpleasantly surprised to have to pay excise duty on them. This should have been apparent when I ordered them!!

Optically good, ergonomically bad
Bought these (8x42) as an upgrade to my 8x42 vortex diamond back. Optically these have the edge on the vortex during good light, contrast and sharpness of image are better with the Rangers low light very little to pick between the 2. The rangers are also very sensitive to eye position and you get dark patches if you are not looking straight down the centre of the binoculars, so if you want to look at something on the periphery of the field of view you have to move to get that in the centre or you get issues.Considering this is a hunting optic the ergonomics let them down. Main gripes being the adjustable eye pieces refuse to stay where you set them in the outermost position. The pointed ‘shades’ on the Eye pieces mean the rain guard is cumbersome to get on and off. The covers to the objective lens don’t seem to want to stay shut and the way they are attached means if you are looking into a strong wind they blow up into your line of sight.All told these were to be a replacement for the vortex bin’s with those becoming a back up pair but these will be the back up to a pair of binoculars 1/3rd the price!
