I believe you get what you pay for when you buying batteries. Always buy the best you can afford. Duracell is a great brand. Good battery life.

The real deal but not the longest lasting 9v Duracells
I've just received these batteries and they look fine. They are in the normal Duracell twin battery packaging and seem genuine. The Best Before date is 2021 (4 years from now) so that seems good too. My only slight reservation is that while they are MN1604 batteries I didn't realise until now that there at least two different types of Duracell MN1604s. These ones are 6LP3146 whereas the ones I'm replacing are 6LR61. These ones have an impedance of 3050 ohms whereas the ones I'm replacing are 1700. I've googled this to try and find out what it means and although I haven't found much it does seem that lower impedance (which is a measure of internal resistance) is better and means more / longer capacity. I've bought these batteries for a smoke alarm so if I'd known that I'd have looked to get exact replacements (which is what I mistakenly thought these were) which presumably would have lasted longer. I had thought of rating them as only 4 stars for this reason but that wouldn't have been fair as it's really my fault. I guess the clue is in Duracell's naming / categorisation system where these are "Plus Power" and the longer lasting batteries are "Ultra Power".

Verkeerd artikel
Amazon stuurt de verkeerde batterijen op, namelijk de standaard ‘plus’ variant en niet de duralock. Lijkt erop dat de verkeerde ASIN sticker is geplakt op dit artikel. Inmiddels stuur ik voor de tweede keer het artikel retour en ga ik ze maar elders bestellen.
