Spektrum SX108 Micro Gear Servo SPMSSX108 – Solid OEM Replacement, Keep a Spare Running these as OEM replacement servos in my Losi Mini-B, and if you race these cars you already know — these little servos take a beating. I usually buy them two at a time and keep one in the parts bin. That’s not because they’re junk, it’s because of how much abuse they see in racing. Hard landings, constant steering input, and crashes will eventually take anything out. Performance-wise, these hold up well. Steering is consistent, no weird glitches, and they do exactly what you need them to do on track. I’ve had good reliability overall, but when they do fail, it’s usually sudden — and that can end your race day quick if you don’t have a spare. At the price point, it just makes sense to keep an extra on hand. For me, this is one of those “consumable” parts in RC racing. Pros: Direct OEM fit for Mini-B Handles racing abuse well Consistent steering performance Affordable enough to keep spares Cons: When they fail, they fail without warning Not a “lifetime” part under racing conditions Bottom line: If you’re racing a Mini, don’t just buy one — buy two. Having a spare in your pit box can save your race day.

Good little servo for mini t 2.0 .. stock is not always a bad thing ..

Don't be like me and buy another servo only to find out its your servo horn. Also put a mini zip tie around your servo horn and thank me later.

No issues. Bought for the 2 speed transmission in my SCX10 iii Gladiator. Be sure to set your endpoints!

Bought this for my SCX10.3 to shift the transmission. Bolts right in and comes with the servo saver base that you need to complete the 2 speed set up. The servo didn't even last long enough to set the endpoints. It's completely dead. I know micro servos are known to be unreliable, but my Traxxas TRX-4'S are over 4 years old and still kicking. This servo is a complete waste of money. I'm seriously re thinking using any Spectrum products after this. Even a crappy servo should last long enough to dial it in. Never even made it off the bench. Blew within minutes of install and that was at 6 volts. Absolute garbage.

Unable to fully test as no control horn or attachment screws for a horn are included.
