Will it stop the nails from splitting down the nail

I was so disappointed with this kit ... it made my already weak nails even worse... I'm now using ESSIE and BARRY M products instead. Try anything from those brands, they are great and affordable. Or if you have a bit more cash to spend try NAIL ENVY from OPI.

I am not putting any colour on will just using the base coat and oil improve my nails

Yes, the treatments can be used alone, on naked nails, or under a colour. If you do want an extra glossy finish use Brilliance over the treatment base coats as they do dry slightly matte. Phenomen oil can be used daily as normal, or throughout the day as often as is needed, eg, if the cuticles are dry it can be used after every hand wash.

can you use with gel polish?

Probably not as the gel, assuming UV will not cure properly with this as a base, likely to peel off

Is this tested on animals ?

Jessica products and raw materials are not tested on animals. We do sell in China but we sell the same finished goods that have not been tested on animals and go through proper registration practices like we do for the EU.
