Beautifully illustrated with photos, well written, comprehensive. I now feel like I know what I need to know about whether to get into modular and how to get started. I love just looking at this book.

Awesome foray into the world of Modular Synthesizers
This is an awesome book. I’ve been a modular user for a long time and this book is so much fun to dig into even as an experienced user.

Very Good Book!
This book is very well done and full of useful information for those interested in modular or semi-modular synthesis. The interviews sprinkled throughout the book are a nice bonus. An index would have been helpful but the table of contents is detailed enough to use in this regard.

Essential for modular enthusiasts
This is the best resource there is for exploring modular synthesizers. It got me started on my journey, and remains a reference I'm always going back to. If you have the drive and resources to pursue Eurorack, you really should have this book.

Great intro and intermediate level book, with great pics, and brief explanations on what modular sinthesis is all about. Some patch ideas throughout the book. Entertaining and informative. Recommended.

Expensive, glossy book. Some will find it worthwhile anyway!
I borrowed a copy of this book before buying it. It has some useful detail re modular synthesis, so in the end I decided it was worth the high price to get that level of detail. In the UK at least public libraries may be able to get a copy for loan before you commit to buying such an expensive book. It is well produced, and may given anyone playing around with synths, either hardware or software, some interesting ideas. Very much a niche book - or a coffee table book for those people who aren't really trying to check out modular synthesis.
