This pad is as it says 40 sheets of white paper of 100gsm. I should have taken notice of that when buying but I did not. Basically, for me, using paper of 100 gsm means that I can not use watercolour paint as the paper is not substantial enough to deal with water applied to it. There are better papers available on Amazon for this price and even less. I purchased some paper with 200gsm and that works better and cost less than this sketch pad.
