Perfect little train
Quick delivery and lovely little train! Works perfectly even managing to go up a slope pulling wagons! Very pleased.

Great fun for a 2 year old
Ideal for my 2 year old grandson. He can switch it on and off, reverse and forwards, and put it on the track. He enjoys adding trucks. We have found it can pull quite a few. It is robust enough to withstand his handling. It runs well on a smooth kitchen floor as well as the track and goes just fast enough so he can enjoy watching it. It does eat up the batteries, especially if it runs into a corner somewhere and you don’t notice for a while!

We love Brio BUT...
We own almost all parts of Brio and normally are very satisfied but this little one is disappointing. The battery goes flat within 40 minutes of playing! We have it over a week and already changed battery 3 times! It goes fast for few minutes and then slows down so much it doesn't even have power to go up hill. My boy is disappointed and sad because I refused to keep putting new battery daily... and can't be used without it... so its useless 😕

Excellent train, battery life not so good
My grandson loves this train, played with it all christmas day. Only downside was battery life. We bought durcell batteries and by the end of christmas day we was on battery number 4. I would recommend buying rechargeable

Lovely little ensemble
This is a great little ensemble and my grandson loves it. It chugs along very happily with its coal wagon swaying and the cement mixer going round and the reverse action was an immediate hit - we used to have an early model Thomas with reverse but it broke and has been sadly missed as the new Thomas only goes forward! I can see why it might be heavy on batteries as it has a lot of work to do on one AAA and ours is running down now and needs a change. That's not a problem though for the joy it brings!

Brio battery operated Steam train + 2 rolling stock
Quality Brio battery operated Steam train + 2 rolling stock, nicely made as you would expect from Brio. The only downside is that a lot of this stuff is made from plastic these days & not wood! The kids love it though so all good!!

Moves slowly, goes through batteries quickly
This goes through batteries so quickly - I have to replace them pretty much every week. I wouldn’t get this if I had my time again.
