Skip Hop Explore and More Accordion Toy, Hedgehog

My 10 month old loves this. She's just strong enough to make a little noise with it by herself but with help she LOVES to make the full sound. Not offensively loud either thankfully. She also loves the detail (moving parts and bumps). Very sturdy item.

One of those toys that works at different stages, My grandson liked carrying it around or sitting in his car seat and sucking it, and will soon be able to pull it open to make the sound of an accordian. (pleasant sound) I was very pleased with the quality and different textures to feel and skills it encourages. It is an appealing toy built to last.

Great little toy, it makes noise but no batteries needed, my boy loves to chew on it. I will say it's a little advanced for him at 8 months old, I think it will be better suited to him when he's 1..

My 8 month old absolutely loves this toy! He loves the music it makes and chewing on the side. It’s also fairly compact and not heavy for him to hold or play with. It’s ideal for 6 months plus I think. And it’s consistent with other Skip hop characters that he loves and recognised them from toy to toy.

Lovely little toy, has a few different textures for your baby to feel and explore but for our daughter, shes still learning to grasp both handles and to pull it to make the noises. I would say that this is for slighter older babies who have developed good dexterity and has a bit of strength to fully appreciate this toy! At present, our daughter is using it as a teether and a table basher but she looks like she's having fun!

A suitable size for a baby/ toddler to play with, but I was disappointed that it is too difficult for a little child to get a noise from it. I expect it will loosen up in time, but only if an adult or older child plays with it a lot ! Nice quality.

Seems very durable, cute design. Makes an authentic accordion sound and is easy for babies to use. Perfect for the noisy gift war I'm unfortunately in the midst of. Good luck keeping your marbles now Abbie! #iwin

Perfect for younger kids. Easy to use, good quality, good looking with vibrant colours appreciated by kids. Makes music that is not annoying and very simple to use.

I absolutely adore the Skip Hop collection. My baby has an owl theme but Skip Hop combines the owl, fox and hedgehog and they are all so cute! I’ve gotten my 9 month old most of this particular set and with Christmas coming and him having pushing and pulling down now I was excited to get the Hedgehog Accordion because I know he will love it. I was a tiny bit worried it would very loud and obnoxious because it’s an accordion and I was extremely pleased to be wrong. It’s not too loud and I’m no way obnoxious. It’s a light tone that changes as he pulls it open and pushes closed and it’s very easy for little hands to hold on to. It’s not at all hard to pull apart or push together and it’s exactly as pictured. Bright colors, soft accordion part and so easy to use. I have loved each of Skip Hops toys and this one is no exception. Great toy for older infant ages through toddler.
