I’ve been using this sunscreen for years now. The texture is smooth and beautiful - not sticky or thick - more like a light lotion. It does leave a bit of a white cast and takes some time to rub in.

I try to take very good care of my fair/light 32 year-old skin and i was worried about the formula change because I LOVED the old formula. But I have to say, this stuff is great. We are having a major heat wave in the Pacific northwest right now. 116 degrees today and I wore this in the pool for hours and NO SUNBURN! I barely even have tan lines!! I will note that this is not marketed as water resistant and I was worried about using it in the water, but I found that it did protect me and my kids well and we reapplied every 45 min-1hr. My husband even asked me what sunscreen I was using because I wasn't burning. I do apply and reapply often and liberally. Generous amount in bottle for a sunscreen, although I don't like the decreased amount with this new formulation. I didn't experience any stinging in my eyes with this new formula. I use this on my kids as well. There is an extremely faint white cast on the body, but it's only minimally noticable after rubbing it in. I wear makeup so I don't see it on the face and it doesn't disrupt makeup or break me out. I use an oil cleanser to fully remove. I wish this was still purely mineral, but this does an excellent job when used as directed!

So I’ve been delving deep into Korean sunscreens the past year or 2, and I finally got around to trying the Make Prem one. I understand that they have recently reformulated it. I’m not sure why though. And I can’t say how it performs compared to the old formula. As I never had the chance to use it. So, that being said, I like this sunscreen. But it definitely has its ups and downs. First, you get a lot of it! Yes, the bottle seems expensive at first, but if you look at the price per ounce, it’s one of the best priced K-beauty sunscreens out there. And the formula is pretty thin and milky. Making it very easy to spread. It sinks into the skin quickly, so you don’t have to use as much as you need to with a thicker formula. It truly felt like I was wearing nothing on my skin, it was so lightweight. However, it does have a slight white cast. If you’re fair to light skinned it’s not that noticeable. It just takes a few extra minutes to really blend in. But if you’re darker than that it’s absolutely going to show up on your skin. But if you wear it on your face under foundation it should be relatively easy to cover. This would be perfect for someone who wants both an illuminating base, and a powerful sunscreen to go under their makeup. I took a star off solely for the white cast. I wish that more skin tones could easily use this like I can. It is neither drying, nor is it super moisturizing. More of a natural skin finish with some very light hydration. I’d say that this would work best with a normal to combination skin type. I was able to wear this on my body as well as on my shoulder, neck, and face without any irritation. No stinging of the eyes either, and I like to cover my whole face, including the eyelids with my sunscreen. (If you’ve ever had a sunburn to your eyelids you will understand why!) It did not irritate or dry out my eczema patches, though I’ve got them under control right now. This is a concern for me because I’ve had sunscreens cause flare ups in the past. Nor did it affect the application of my makeup. Everything went on smoothly as if I was wearing a lightly moisturizing primer. It also lasted all day. It’s almost like a waterproof formula with its lasting power, but without the tackiness, or the difficulty removing. It will rub off a white-ish residue on anything black if you are in contact with it long enough though. As a goth, with many black things, I have experienced this first hand. It’s best removed with a makeup remover. Such as a balm, oil, micellar water, or makeup dissolving soap/cream.But regular soap will take it off, you just need to wash the area twice to remove it completely. And lastly, if you were trying to get the whole glass skin/K-beauty glow, then this is the product for you! I looked like I had spread Vaseline on every inch of my exposed skin for the entire 10 hours of wear! It dimmed a bit by the end of the day, but only a little. My face, neck, and décolletage were still glowing for all that they were worth. However, like I said earlier, it was not greasy, oily, or really dewy feeling on the skin. Once dried down it had a very natural skin like feel. So if being matte is your jam, or you are a naturally oily individual, then avoid this at all cost. I would definitely repurchase this, but I might try using it just on my body, neck, and décolletage. Having a face that shiny all day long is just too much in my opinion. And during the summer I don’t want to have to apply, and reapply, a ton of powder to my face daily to dim the glow to a more manageable level. But during the winter when I’m a bit more dry I might change my mind.

it doesn't really smell too strongly of a perfume at all which I like, it doesn't leave a white cast, it dries down matte feeling, and for my combo oily normal some areas are more sensitive, and this never breaks me out, UNLIKE other brands that have chemical sun protection this does not irritate! it's soothing to me like the last step of skin care before I leave the house. I work with kids so I'm always outside, it really helps control my facial freckles in the summer. it doesn't leave that gross greasy film feeling at all. I've bought this 2x already one bottle lasts me about a year and 4 months! summer time definitely a must! and I'm almost going to buy my 3rd again. I love it. I hope to have this for the rest of my life! I also used the samples it came with, I like the viscosity if the toner and how fast the toner sinks in, and I like the makeprem safeME too a normal sensitive skin cream lotion very nice, it's pretty moisturizing and calming. nice stuff! will def buy again. even if the price keeps going up and up and up, I'll buy it again and again!!! 10/10 def recommend.

First things first: the consistency. I hate thick sunscreens, but this is a sun fluid. It has a consistency of watery face creams. I knew it wasn't going to be thick because of the "sun fluid" part, but I didn't expect it to be like this! I didn't have to squeeze the bottle much at all for it to come out. It feels incredibly light on the skin, almost like you're not wearing anything at all. It's cosmetically elegant; it's beautiful under makeup (silicone or water-based). Another great thing is that it doesn't long to rub it in. I've used many types of sunscreens where it takes forever to rub into the skin. I didn't have this problem at all. It's a bit pricy, but I think it's 100% worth it. 1) It hasn't broken me out. I have, somewhat, sensitive skin and it hasn't caused any problems at all! 2) There's no white cast. 3) Incredible formula & high protection. 4) It's NOT tacky and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky like other products. This is probably the BEST sunscreen/fluid I've ever used. The Korean (really Asian in general) suncare industry is way ahead of their western counterpart. Highly recommend this product!

I purchased a bottle back in Aug 2022 and it looks like what I got was their "new formula." Pros: - Feels lightweight - Relatively affordable when compared to some other brands like Dermalogica for instance Cons: - Leaves a white cast (I've attached one photo where I have the product applied on the back of my hand. It's pretty subtle in the picture but the back of my hand looks ghostly compared to my forearm) - Has a pretty noticeable scent (I would describe it as 'chemically' if that even is a word. It was a bit nauseating for me, but maybe my tolerance for certain scents is just very low) Neutral: - Watery texture (it kind of beads up when you first start applying it, please see pictures) Overall, it's not a bad product but it's not great either. But if you're looking for fragrance-free, then this definitely isn't for you

I love this sunblock! It’s not thick, glides on nicely, and does not leave a white cast. I notice that it dries down matte and my skin remains like that all day (applied at 11am and It’s currently 9pm{I’m aware I needed to reapply after 2hrs but I only walked the dog at 11am and didn’t leave the house until his second walk which was after sunset}). My point is I haven’t had the need to blot or powder and my face isn’t tight from dryness either. I think this would be amazing under makeup as it essentially absorbs instantly and wouldn’t give a thick cakey look. I already ordered a second bottle (I have used sunblock daily since I was 11 years old) so when I find one I double down on it and mind u I always keep different types of sunblocks for different skin areas and time of year ..this one is now part of the family of staples. It’s pricey but not as much as department Store sunblocks and it’s much much larger when compared to those same sunblocks... I believe this to be totally worth it.
