TP Toys TP304 Wooden Swing Frame (Forest Double)

Bought this swing to replace a single seat metal swing that had seen better days. We're really happy with this. It seems sturdy and well made. Not sure how but I managed to put this together myself. A could of bolt's were fiddly to tighten but got there eventually. With two people this would be simple to put up. One negative. I wasn't too keen on the ground stakes supplied. Firstly, they're plastic, so difficult to get in the ground. Second, they aren't very long. I'm sure that it wouldn't be a huge issue provided the kids didn't swing too high, but just to make sure I decided to set them in the ground with a bit of postcrete. Overall, the kids love it and we're very happy parents.

I tried several swings and returned most of them as they did not meet my expectations. I felt that this pricy but thought of trying this as I got vexed with iron ones. Assembling instructions were helpful and effort to fit was decent, but I think 2 people doing this will be good. Swing was sturdy and good looking. It has got 2 swing sets suitable for age above 3 and this disappointed me a bit. I thought the baby swing set will be provided. I had to buy baby swing set. My kid who is 1.8 years old loves to swing on this. But the only problem I felt is ground pegs that were supplied are not good enough to make the swing sturdy. This is now wobbling and I have to do some thing so that it is firm in my lawn. I really doubt if two people could swing with out the swing frame wobbling. This could with stand two children but the fixings supplied may not make it sturdy enough and this defeats the whole point of going for double swing set. To conclude if we could some how make it sturdy either by adding external fixings or put concrete then this product is excellent. I feel this product could be recommended.

Late review BUT done now as these swings have, for months and months, suffered every weather and abuse possible from a pair of twins, who adore them. Survived the weather perfectly, sturdy, seats are brilliant - one set has now been grown out of and the 'big' children's seats are now on. Fabulous swings Excellent price. Highly recommended as safe, durable and so much fun. Thank you.

Swing is nice enough but make sure you have a drill handy as we weren’t prepared for all the holes we would have to drill ourselves. It was also quite tricky lining up the legs with the brackets. Definitely a two person job. Main reason for 3 star rating is due to missing parts which seems to be a recurring issue. We only received 4 of 6 M8 nuts for the double swing which meant we could only attach one swing. Very disappointing as this was a joint birthday present for my daughters and we had to wait until the following day to go to screwfix to get replacement ones!

Easy to assemble, beautiful to look at and Anchorage points work really well if not cementing into the ground. Also the TP quad swing is amazing for all ages!

Initially appeared OK and the 5 year TP guarantee seemed reliable. The product collapsed after only nearly 3 years use with my current 3 and 6 year old. Not a product to last their young growth

I bought this swing for my grand daughters birthday and some friends helped put it together but she loves it. It is sturdy and anchors into the ground with plastic prongs. It has not moved since built in early January despite some stormy weather and even takes the weight of adults. It is exactly as it looks in the pictures.

But only time will tell. Pretty easy to assemble with two people. Spikes to hold it in place went in the ground well without needing concreting. Max. weight for use is 45kg so be aware of childs ages and weights. Kids 9 and 6, love it!

Article reçu presque deux mois après la commande. Nous avons donc dû trouver un autre cadeau de Noël pour notre enfant. Vigilance produit très lourd dans le carton, il vaut mieux être au moins 2 à la réception. Pour le montage et l'installation, cela demande du matériel complémentaire pour fixer les barres métalliques dans le sol. Nous avons été 4 personnes. Une fois installé nous sommes satisfaits du produit qui tient bien en place et résiste aux intempéries.
