Everbuild Black Jack 904 Roof Felt Adhesive – High Strength – Black – 1 Litre

I painted this onto my shed roof having replaced the entire roof. My shed measures 8’x10’, so the roof is a little larger. When I had finished, I had hardly touched the contents of the tin ( this included the adhesive I got on myself). So now I have almost a tin full left over and no use for. I must say though that it has done a wonderful job of sticking the new felt down and it looks tidy again. Yes, I would certainly recommend it, but it should come in smaller sized tins for us one shed wonders.

Good, easy to apply.

This product is just fine, it worked well for me. No problem at all. Though 25 Ltrs may be too much for other users.

Purchased 1ltr and was more than enough for a 6ftx8ft shed. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing, most were saying how good it was whilst a few stated it was too runny, drips and others had issues with damaged/burst cans. Regarding it being too runny, I think it really should be used on a cooler day or evening and stored in a cool place beforehand, the can I received was the consistency of treacle and i was able to put the tarp on top within a few minutes rather than wait the 30 minutes or so as advertised (to allow it to get tacky). I only put it on yesterday evening but so far it's doing the job, stuck down firm, I'm hoping that by the time summer comes round it'll be well established and when hit by the sun it won't heat up and loosen or drip. I'll do an update then but for now it's doing as advertised and I'd happily recommend it.

Used to re-roof a log cabin, sticking new felt over existing (which had been thoroughly cleaned and was bone dry. Left the adhesive to become tacky before fixing. I found the adhesive needed leaving overnight, weighed down with sheets of plywood and large bricks before it stuck properly. But once stuck, it's properly stuck.

This does the job, but it's good idea to wear rubber gloves when applying this. You possibly need white spirit to get it off skin. Baby wipes. As it is bitchumen paint. =

I got this adhesive and put it on my shed roof before I put the new felt on and I used a roller to put the adhesive on the roof it’s easy to use but you must use gloves it is hard to get off your hands
