Timex Men's Digital Watch with a Plastic Strap UFC Redemption

This watch would give a Casio G-Shock a run for its money. It’s lightweight, 50m water resistant, nice indiglo backlight, stopwatch, countdown timer, 5 alarms, hourly beep, dual time mode and birthday alarms ( set an alarm for someone’s birthday or anniversary). A very comfortable watch. 2 downsides to this watch: The hourly beep is not worth noting. Do a favour and switch it off, but the alarm is very good. Second downside: that bizarre second’s counter in the top right corner of the screen. It serves no purpose whatsoever and a bonus bit of rubbish is that the bezel on this watch is pointless as it is made for an analog watch and not a digital. That to one side this is a good, solid built watch that you can wear for work or sports.

Really good!!! I work at the airport and needed a rugged cheap watch to deal with the environment. This watch has surpassed my expectations by far!!!

It was came with dead battery. Apart from is working ok.

A nice rugged-looking sports watch offering dual time, alarm, countdown timer, date and backlight. The bezel is just for show (it doesn’t rotate) Its water resistant up to 50m, but only really suitable for general swimming (definitely no diving). I found this rather disappointing for a watch which is clearly made to look like something you’d wear whilst active. However, I was prepared to overlook this until I discovered that the display is acrylic. To me, any watch designed for active wear should at least have a mineral glass. Acrylic may handle impacts quite well, but it has a low scratch resistance, meaning it will look pretty shabby in no time at all. The strap isn't that comfortable either, which is strange as I've never had a problem with resin straps on any of the watches in my collection. Worse still, there were no instructions supplied with the watch. At first this was fine, as most manufacturers these days direct customers to the internet to download this. Not so with Timex. The watch isn’t even listed on their site, and an email to customer services has so far gone unanswered. So, after a bit of playing around I have managed to set the time and date, but that’s it! I know £50 isn’t a great deal to spend on a watch, but its not super cheap either. In my opinion this watch doesn’t offer anything more than something half its price. If you want a watch that looks good and is just for show then you may be fine, but if you’re looking for something which can take some abuse I’d look elsewhere.

very nice watch but a bit big for me although it wears nicely and comfy. for 36 quid this is value for money

Relógio de design robusto e apelativo com mostrador escuro, diferente do habitual, mas quando utilizado em ambientes mais escuros se torna uma desvantagem porque nos obriga a usar mais a luz indiglo. Vem embalado em caixa, toda ela de cartão, mais ecológica e reciclável, acompanhada de um folheto com indicações sobre a garantia. Quanto as instruções de utilização mandam- nos para o site da timex que curiosamente não tem as instruções relativas a este modelo( eu não as encontrei) o que nos deixa um bocado á toa sem saber muito bem para que servem algumas funções.
