Fobus Standard Holster RH Paddle WP22 Walther Model P22

I wanted an inexpensive yet a quality holster for my .22 pistol when I go plinking at a shooting range so I got the Fobus Paddle OWB holster. It is a kydex holster that is easy to put on without removing the belt, and fits securely in my pants and belt. I can put this holster at any position around and outside of my waist because the paddle is very comfortable. Many reviewers commented that this Fobus holster is very tight when holstering the Walther P22. Out of the box, I experienced that this holster was very, very tight. It was difficult to draw or remove my pistol from the holster because of the holster’s tight retention around the trigger. Unlike some other holsters, this holster does not have a screw to adjust the retention around the trigger guard. However, I used silicone spray inside the holster and around the trigger guard, and a hair dryer to heat and loosen the retention. I can now easily holster my pistol and remove it from this Fobus holster. This product is an outstanding value.

Dieses Holster funktioniert mit einem Klemmmechanismus welcher die ersten 5-10mal sehr straff geht, sich danach aber einpegelt. Die Waffe sitzt sicher und wackelfrei im Holster und lässt sich schnell und sicher ziehen. Die Oberschenkelplatte ist auf der Innenseite leicht gummiert und trägt sich angenehm ohne aufzutragen. Leider besitzt das Holster keine mechanische (verdeckte)Verriegelung und ist daher im Dienst nicht zulässig. Der Abzug der Waffe ist aber im Holster steckend gesichert und kann nicht betätigt werden. Aber hervorragend für alle tactical shooting Events.

If you are using it in Canada it won’t fit the the extra barrel length (even though it said it would) tried modifications it locks in but won’t draw out without a fight.

Love it!!! After reading through all the reviews that describe this holster as being too tight and tips on how to modify it — I wasn't really sure what to expect. Personal experience — It fits my Walther P22 perfectly! My pistol easily slides into the holster, there is a distinct click when it's fully seated and it draws very nicely. No complaints whatsoever. I was able to draw on my first attempt — the key is to draw/jerk the pistol quickly from the holster in a straight line. It is possible to draw it slowly just takes a little practice and patience. Pros — Very functional, holster goes on to belt quickly, fits great, securely holds your P22, low profile for the type of holster it is, feels and looks to be great quality, comfortable to wear standing or sitting. All of which comes at a very nice price! Cons — N/A Conclusion — Apparently some people have had problems with this holster. That has not been the case for me at all. I love mine and am really glad I decided to try this holster. I suspect that some of people experiencing tightness problems with their holsters were not drawing correctly. But based on some of the descriptions in other reviews it also sounds like some of them were too tight. I'm very pleased with mine and would definitely recommend this product. Ich kann die guten Rezessionen absolut nachvollziehen. Meine Walther P22Q passt perfekt in dieses Holster und ist beim verdeckten tragen nicht zu sehen. Ich habe diverse andere Holster probiert doch bin immer wieder bei diesem hier gelandet. Die Waffe sitzt sehr fest und kann im richtigen Winkel schnell gezogen werden. Die Qualität des Holsters ist hervorragend, nur die Wartezeit ist ein wenig lang. wer seine Walther p22q sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter perfekt verdeckt tragen möchte sollte zu diesem Holster greifen Punkt er passt an jede Hose mit einem stabilen Gürtel. Egal ob Jeans oder kurze Hose. Wenn es sein muss auch an der Jogginghose. Die perfekte Alternative zum IWB Holster und auch für etwas beleibte Träger ideal.
