Watch the manufacture date.
Energizer rechargeables are usually ok. i contacted Energizer to find what the manufacture date was on these and they explained the manufacture date was the number on the actual battery that says 1022MF. That means it was made October 2022. so these are over a year old already. Id say if your paying £6.50 per battery you should at least get batteries within a year of manufacture. Energizer said they have a life of 5 years so are ok till 2027. As i sent them photos they said these were the old style batteries so this is old stock, be warned. Another thing i dont like about these rechargable manufacturers is they make it so hard to see when these batteries were made. Its not on the packaging, but on the battery itself. problem is you cant see the battery till you open it up out the package as its a cardboard box package so you cant see it till you open it. Quite conveniently not showing dates on purpose i feel. Always check dates for these if you can before buying.

I recently purchased rechargeable batteries from Amazon, and I’m really impressed! They’re noticeably lighter than disposable batteries, which is a nice bonus. Even better, they last much longer and hold their charge really well. Endlich mal eine Batterie die mal lange hält . Ich muss sie frühestens alle paar Monate mal aufladen und sie ist wirklich sehr zuverlässig. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen . Preis leistungs Verhältnisse ist wirklich top!

These batteries don’t last very long in my radio
Ordered six of these and while they look good I’m afraid to say they don’t last very long ones charged in a AMFM radio. I’m finding 7 hours use on low volume is enough to reduce the charge of 6 D cells prompting the radio to signal batteries need to be recharged. Be interested in any other methods of using rechargeable batteries in a DL format that are more effective.
