Brilliant
These are the sintered pads which are a bit noisy compared to organic but for off roading and wet weather far superior, as to other reviews saying they're really thicker than other pads I didn't find this to be true, not sure if others didn't push the pistons back enough or have really thick disks ?I have tektro auriga m290 brakes on mine, perfect fit,and the space between the pads when fitted was 3 mm which is more than enough for my disk to fit between without rubbing.Performance wise these are amazing they grab really well and don't feel they lose power through the descent I'm 16 stone and on a 29er. will by again

Stop well, but spring, noise and rotor wear problems
Purchased these pads back in May 2012 as a spare set for the Deore mechanical front brake on my Airnimal Joey Sport. Finally fitted them in December 2012 when the Shimano original pads wore out. They have now been in use for 4 weeks (200 miles) of town and city riding - mostly flat roads and gentle hills, but with frequent stopping for lights and junctions. The good points:- Good price- Stopping performance is very good- Pad wear seems lowBUT, the bad points:- On installation the spring provided did not quite clear the outer edge of the rotor, resulting in slight rubbing between disc and spring. I cleaned up and re-using the spring from the previous pads instead.- After around 2 weeks the pads became increasingly noisy, producing a screech under moderate or heavy braking that would put a London black cab to shame.- Rotor wear seems to have accelerated - I am sure it is more marked then I installed these pads.I have now gone back to some Shimano resin pads which I hope will resolve these problems.

Good buy
Great braking power and so far not as noisy as my last sintered pads in the rain.Didn't come with pins/clips to hold them in so had to salvage my old ones, not a major problem but if mine had snapped I would have had to source more so they lose a star for that

Worthwhile upgrade over OEM pads
Excellent value and performance over the standard Shimano pads. Using them with Hope floating rotors as a cheap upgrade until I fit Hope brakes to my bike. Not too noisy, take a bit of time to bed in compare to resin pads but worth the wait.

Stopping power OK, but vibrations not OK
They seem OK at first but vibrate after a while. Discs were squeaky clean, no pun intended, before fitting new pads. Swapped pads, left to right and vibrations stopped for a bit but came back. I belive vibrations are caused by pads being slightly too small, allowing them to oscillateur within the caliper.

Strong braking force at the expense of noise
I tried these sintered pads after coming from resin and I must say that the braking force is noticeably stronger with sintered. However even after sanding and cleaning rotors with isopropanol these sintered pads have an inherent "metal on metal" noise after a short while. This then develops into a different screeching noise then resin. I wouldn't recommend these if you need less chance of screeching than resin.Furthermore, when I ordered 2 packs I got one brand new and the other pack was opened and retaped back up. That retaped one screeched after a week. The new one screeched after about 1.5 months.

Nie do końca dobre
Montowałem klocki do zacisku shimano.

NOT the same size as oem shimano pads
I should of read the other review on these before i purchased. These are thicker than shimano pads, therefore they rub/drag on your rotor, and are VERY grabby. I've put about 40+ miles on these pads and they STILL drag. and when i say drag, it is very noticeable when spinning the wheel in the air.I will taking these off and most likely throwing them in the garbage and replacing them with original Shimano brand pads like I should of done in the first place.
